who was this from? Really creepy. Tried to send a message back to find who it was but couldn't send as no such number. How can I get a voice mail from no such number?

So why did the message go on for so long? It sounded like someone on a train doind wierd things?

Just had this number (07973100123) come up on my phone as missed call although it didn't ring. This has got to be related to another number I have blocked on my phone today. 01268557699 has tried calling me numerous times today but I ignored all calls. Since blocking 01268557699, 07973100123 has called. I googled 01268557699 and it has something to do with a dodgy holiday prize scam. I was stupid enough to pass my number on when I got stopped in the street (post baby brain), should have known better, grrrrr!

I just picked up my phone, and +44797310012 was showing on the display, weird, coz I never dialled that number, and the phone was locked, tried to call back, deadline

This number is orange voicemail, if you have not lisitened to a message it tells you before it is auto deleted from the system,

It is not a Scam it is Orange Voicemail

As many have already said, its Orange Voicemail... you get a message from the number when you have a message to retrieve, and you dial the same number to retrieve it, so scam, no problem...

Well the message goes on as long the person who left the message wanted it to!!! obviously until they hang up!!!
This number is Orange Answerphone, all they do, like any other answer machine service is pass the messages on, they dont record them!!!

called today on new mobile. I have not given the number to anyone yet. Just went straight to voicemail which I have not checked.

It went straight to voicemail as it IS the Orange voicemail number! read previous messages!

Oh are you really being that stupid? read the above posts, have you never used an answer machine before? you see, people ring phones, when they are not answered people leave messages!!!
On your home phone, you get flashing lights or numbers saying you have a message, then you press a nice little "play" button to hear it, but you can't on a mobile, they send you a text saying you have a message and you ring that number, 07973100123 from non orange or just 123 from an Orange phone to access your anwer machine...

As for your message with singing, well thats one of your friends leaving a message...

Tried umpteen times to explain this to my mam. I wonder if there's a way to find the callers number WITHOUT calling the answer phone. She's on payg so it would be handy.

Other than that, I'd just suggest to leave it. If it's something important they'll ring again.

This is nothing to worry about.  Orange did the same to me.  They send you a text to remind you that there are voicemail messages on your phone that were not deleted.  This is purely to tell you that if you want to keep the messages you need to save them or else they will be automatically deleted.

Noticed today 25th October there was a dialled call listed on my mobile from 07973100123 supposedly dialled yesterday the 24th. I did not use my phone yesterday as I was away and I thought dialled calls were supposed to be from me?????????? This is NOT my number though I am on Orange so I will be visiting the Orange shop after viewing this page to find out just WHAT is going on.Before this "dialled call" I had 65 pence credit left. I had a message from Orange today to say I now have only 60seconds credit left on my Talk account. This means that the call has cost me all of my credit as my calls cost 20p per hour on my magic number system. I'm totally bewildered.
