It's the orange voicemail number. You mentalists.

This is not a scam!!

The text messages are from the orange answerphone alerting you that you have unheard messages in your voicemail box.

My examples were around 3 weeks late and when calling my voicemail (from my iPhone) I had unretrieved messages from the date in the text. No alert came on my phone but the messages are genuine.

Go through your voicemail settings and turn on notifications - mine had been turned off.

The random voicemail mesaages people are getting are probably idiots getting hold of their number and leaving a mesaage!!

It is definitely the Orange answer phone number so no scam .

This is not a scam. It is Orange voicemail number.

This is  voicemail , I spoke to customer services with the same problem, you need to send an SMS code to activate your voicemail which is: *5005*86*+447973100123#

Dial that number from your telephone keypad then press Call.

Now try the Voicemail button and your phone should dial EE Voicemail!

Worked for me anyway!

Voice mail left at 10.30pm on the 20th April 2014  . Listened to it and it was as if someone was chewing gum or something

keep getting calls and been charged

It appears to be some type of scam, accept from wasting your money on bogus calls I am not sure how it operates or have I been billed for calling this number on my land line which ask me to give them my mobile number. I deleted any other reference to this number.

The posts saying it's orange mobile call answering service are correct.

I have at least 2 calls a week from this mobile number how do I cancel it, its driving me

i fed up with this number giving me answer machine and when i call them you got to have a code to listen to it i have these about 4 times a day thanks

This is the Orange Answerphone service, sending you a text to try to get you to phone in and pick up an answerphone message. Since I am pay as you go, and pay to access voicemail, they are keen for me to do it.....

This could be a scam i did  not answer it.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile - no way am I going to ring it or listen to the answering machine - glad we have this service "who calls me"

it is the Orange answering machine saying there is a message and to press 1 to listen to the message TROUBLE IS THERE IS NO BLOODY MESSAGE - GETTING FED UP WITH THIS SCAM TOO = NO DOUBT IT IS COSTING ME MONEY TO LISTEN TO NOTHING - NEEDS TO BE STOPPED

yes that is exactly what it is and there is no message absolutely nothing when you press 1 DON'T BOTHER THIS NEEDS TO BE STOPPED NOW TOO
