I got a call from this number but the text message said it was from 0191 289 7500. It must be a scam because Orange send clear cut messages. I wonder if they are trying to use our numbers at our expense?

I get an anaphone messages each month, usually only 1. When you listen there is no answer, just a faint noise at the other end and then someone hangs up. Im googled the number and discovered it's the orange ansaphone number 447973100123. I think its just to increase the monthly bill. You can't get rid of this message until you press 1 listen to it and then press 3 to delete it. Its dammed annoying and just add costs to your monthly bill. Is there a waty of deleting the message without listening to it? Last time this happened it added 16p to my bill which is peanuts but still annoying when you are on a fixed monthly contract.  I think the moral of the story is to always check the number out (google) before listening to the message.

I had this too - but have realised that my iphone was not letting me know I had voicemails, these are texts ligitimately sent by orange to let you know you have voicemails.  It is not a scam.  I had the same thoughts but its all fine.

So is it orange anwser phone?,  but how can it be because when i listened to the message it was just loads of people talking and it went on forever!

I keep getting calls from this number, no messages are left. I did call back once and just went to answer machine! I did not leave a message

Yep i think they really are that stupid! dont know how many times people, including me have wrote on this feed to say its the Orange answer machine but never seems to sink in...

On the 12th April I had four 'missed calls' on this number, on 30th April I had two, one on 20th May, two on 26th May, and two on 27th May.  At no time did anyone try to speak to me, in fact although I have my phone near to me I didn't even hear it ring.  I subscribe to Orange and if they want to contact me they always leave me a text message so I can't understand why should they try to ring me?  Is this a real number or a scam?

Got a call from this number this morning saying I had a message left from number : 0161 9390436.  Listened to the message which was left from the Claims Advisory Service.  This is not someone I asked to call me, just more spam calls from accident claim companies!

Ran out of credit and got a 07973100123 message left. Its a crafty way of getting you to top up credit. After all who was the message from.....curiosity killed the cat!!!!
