If you step back and think.

Is it possible that this is a scam operating under the guise of and parallel to a genuine Orange service?

Looking at all the entries and having received many dead/unsociable hour and name check + hang up calls, I reckon most complaints here relate to a scam.

I regard many of the "it's OK!" posts as bogus.

You say you work for Orange. If you do, aren't you concerned for the abuse that your customers are clearly suffering as a result of this shabby operation?

I suspect that you most likely aren't, that you most likely don't and that this is a scam.

I've had calls from this number a few times but I don't answer numbers I don't recognise

I have successfully blocked six calls over the past three days.

I was at work when my phone rang- I didn't pick up because I didn't know who it was!

I have had two calls from this number. No one speaks. GETTING FED UP of calls from people i dont require caslls from. This has only started since i  changed to orange contract

Getting really fed up with calls from this number had 4 so far today.When people are at work they dont want to be bothered by numbers they dont no.The same goes at home. Can't some one do something about this. I will not answer any number i dont no.If they were to text aswell I might considered it. They dont not resond to text u send them

I got a call from this number today, and spoke to a man claiming to be from Orange.

He asked how I was getting on with my Pay as you go contract, and how much I top up by (which I assume Orange would already know?).

I told him I was at work, whereupon he asked me to 'call them back' which to me doesn't sound like a the sort of thing any customer services rep would say, so I ended the call with no intention of calling back!

Just had call from this number - but was a real person (I think?) they asked for me by name but then said nothing. I couldn't hear very well because reception is crap where I live and my children were playing with musical instruments when I took the call!

I have had random numbers calling me all week and I just had a call of this number. I didn't answer it as I didn't recognise the number... glad I didn't after reading these. Who the hell are Orange to sell our details on? :/ That's illegal surely?

This is an Orange number. I let the call go to voicemail and they left a message for me. It was a support follow up about my online access details. I'd be VERY surprised if Orange passed on my support ticket regarding the online access to my account.

Caller even gave official numbers to call back on (150, 459 etc)

I have a contract phone with orange and got a call from this number today but don't answer to numbers I dont recognise so i ignored it, if its important they can leave a voicemail!

I just had a call from this number. It was from Orange and asked various questions about phones and service. My only complaint was the female on the other end spoke too quickly and I had to ask her to repeat herself .

Getting Regular Calls from this number and nobody on the line....Appears to be Orange....If they don't stop I'll switch to something else....

i missed the call from this number as im too busy with my boy, they left a blank msg wasting my time rrrh.

Got a missed call from this company today. recognise it as Orange but didnt answer as didnt know for definate. If its important they will leave me a message or text me im sure. Im not answering numbers i dont know.

It is Orange. "One of our Orange Customer Relations Team tried to call you"

This is the latest in a number of blank calls, they need prosecuting.
