Marketing agency making calls for sky, how dare they give my details to a marketing agency without asking my permission first.  Isn't this against the law?

keep on calling several time a week, I dont answer as I have caller id and dont answer these kind of calls but boy are they persistant

Repeated phone calls that are starting to get annoying.

Have called several times in the last few weeks - half the time it's a dead call. Typical Sky standards.

FOUR times today.  Every single one was a silent call.  Why is this crap not illegal?  It's abuse of privacy.  So much for the telephone preference scheme.  It doesn't work.  Why don't Ofcom do ANYTHING about this kind of thing?

every day this week, told them to stop but they wont. once she hung up on me when I asked how they got my number!

OMG! This number wont leave me alone! Keeps on and on, and the couple of times i have decided to answer its been silent!!

This number has been calling me everyday for weeks. This is getting ridiculous.
I don't even bother to answer it. Surely, this is harrasment?

if this is an agency on behave of sky.. complain to sky.... it is illegial for them to give your numver without permission...........

They spoke the first time, at a time which was inconvenient to me and told them so, they asked if it was okay for them to call me back - wish I had said "NO" ... they seem to time the calls when I am driving or something. It usually only rings for a second, as well! I will indeed be calling Sky tonight and giving them a piece of my mind (what little I have to spare)

Oh, so that's who's calling. I guessed it was an uncolicited marketing call, so haven't been answering phone since the first time they rung and it was a silent call. They call at least twice a day. Thanks for the info about Sky. We are on a telephone preference list, so I am really annoyed about this.

Received 3 calls so far this week, all of which have hung up as soon as I've answered the phone.

Its good to know who it is calling from the above comments, I just won't answer the phone anymore.

To prevent unwanted marketing calls you can register your phone numbers with the Telephone Preference Service.  It is a legal requirement for all companies to screen their outbound marketing telephone data against the service, and those that don't can get fined up to £5,000.

Dead calls, 2 yesterday, one today when I answer it there's no response. I've only been with Sky 2 weeks! and they pass my number to these frauds! not happy

I am in the same boat,  I have just signed up for sky on 5th december.  They haev persistantly called my mobile non stop.  I answer and no one is there.  is there something i can do to stop this??

Silent calls - all the time - so irritating!!!

It's started for me today too...like the people above, have only been with Sky 2 weeks.

8 calls in the 7 days.  I've yet to answer yet. I also joined sky only 2 weeks ago.
