Finally gave in and answered the call today hoping if I talked to them the calls would stop. Women said she was from Sky and wanted to offer me Sky Sports & Sky Movies for half price for 3 months for being a new customer.

Me too, joined Sky a couple of weeks ago and have had daily calls (which I haven't answered) from this number!! AND I am already registered with TPS!!! Grrr

i sign up to sky a week ago and received a call from this number and found a soulution if you go to mysky on the sky website and click to edit your profile their it will say if you will to give contact info to third party company just un tick the box and it should work and you should stop recieving calls

I opted out for having my details passed on - NOT HAPPY!!!!

I have had 3 calls already from SKY, they keep trying to sell me stuff and when i say i have already been contacted they say they have no record of this, its getting very annoying, especially as its my mobile they are calling so its an inconvienience! (bad spelling)

I only joined sky in December! i am so fed up of this!

Called four times now and when I answer, call goes silent.

They have called me 5 times a day for the last 3 weekends.  When I dialled to ban the number it comes up as 08000483792 but on caller display comes up as INTERNATIONAL.  Banned them this time because it's getting ridiculous.

I went on the sky site to opt out and I've already opted out.  Plus they don't know my office number so they shouldn't be ringing it anyway.  Wonder how they got the number then?

Calls once a day it's pxxxing me off can anyone help thanks.

The thing to do here people is answer the call, then put the 'phone back in your pocket. Costs them money 'till they hang up y'see.
Better still, if someone actually speaks to you, say to them "Can you just hold on for a second?" then slip your 'phone into your pocket or a handy drawer and forget about it.
Consumer terrorism. I love it. I ask them if they'd like a bathroom installing.

glad I know who they are now - had half a dozen in the last couple of weeks - I have ID inbuilt so dont answer - will be contacting Sky about this

The usual well-qualified targeted marketing... I'm not a Sky subscriber and they're trying to phone my (recently changed) office DDI number.

I guess either somebody's made up a number on their Sky paperwork, or these jokers just put a big list of numbers in the auto-dialler to see what happens...

Me too! Everyday for the last 2 weeks since i had sky installed - they always ring when im working, or driving and only ring for 2 seconds! leave a messgae if you want me to call you back! jeeeez!

At least twice a day for the last fortnight. Every time I pick it up - noone there :(
At least now I know who it is!

They've phoned me 3 times a day for over a week as I don't answer. I have just answered and told them they had the wrong number and he still kept on asking who I was! So damn cheeky, what an invasion of privacy!!!

Got this call today and they started asking me for passwords etc got suspicious so hung upand rang Sky services they stated not to give out and personal info will be ignoring in future I am the typeof person who would rather flick the channels than watch adverts so I dont want these sponge lifes ringing me
