Same as others, unwanted call, he said he was from O2. better deal on offer, then wanted some details - including my bank account number, at which point I said if he was genuine he would not ask that.

I have this all the time, and I'm on 3 too. I rang the service who said 3 gave them my number. I then rang 3 to complain who sad they don't give out numbers. Had a massive fit at 3 then rang back this number and had a right go at them too. It worked for a while, but now it's started up again. Grrrr.

I got a new mobile on Monday with Vodafone, of which I have been with for about 5 years, 2nd contract with them and never been with O2... I was very short and sharp with my answers to his questions and said that I had read website reviews about this number and he was constantly telling me that they are returning my call as my number was on there received call lists..... I DON'T THINK SO! Haven't ever called them!

Anyway he insisted that my number would be taken off.....

Time will tell!!!

I have had numerous calls from this company! Tell them you are TPS and they will never call again...they can be fined for calling a TPS number if the customer reports it.

hi , had calls from 08000641087, rang O2 up, if you ring 08000136671 you can stop this, do it from a landline its automated and they ask for you mobile number only. my o2 advisor did it to check on my behalf.

Called a few times. When I answered smug git has an answer for everything, trying to keep you on the phone. Told them to remove from all call lists, lets hope they actually do.

Keep getting phone calls from this number, its tried to call 3 times today.

only thing i signed up for recently was the O2 broadband, using my PAYG number for the discount...

This LBM has been calling at least twice a day for the last week - I've just come off the phone with them and they are in deed a 3rd party for the likes of Orange, 02 Vodaphone etc.  I gave them the run around a bit by requesting to speak to a manager, who wouldn't speak cos he was too busy, then asking for the complaints department, to which they said that they didn't know if there was a complaints dept!!!!!so I told them that if they didn't take my details from their system I would contact my solicitor as this borders on harrassment - The poor lad nearly wet himself. Here's his Team Managers name....Roger Singleton who apparently apologised for the call and would suppress my details but still wouldn't speak to me himself.........so if you get some calls from this number, just call them back and ask for Roger - I'm sure he'll sort you out!!!!!

Received a call from this number on Friday 21st Oct., 2008 claiming to be from O2 sales. I ordered a sim which did not arrive. Called O2 sales department but they have no record of any such call.

I've had 5 calls in the last 3 days from this company. I never answer numbers I don't recognise, but today I decided to google the number to check that it wasn't one of the charities I support trying to get hold of me.

I'm now going to call my network provider (who happens to be Orange) to complain about the nuisance calls. And I'll also be following the advice of calling that phone number above.

If enough people complain to their network providers, you can have numbers like these blocked from calling out like this.

Had a call today. Rang twice then stopped. Rang back, got automated message!

Reported to O2 (they said it was a marketing call on behalf of O2 - didn't say who 'they' were). O2 are now investigating.

Googled the number and found this site.

NOT HAPPY! I thought silent calls were illegal, anyway??? This is the next best thing IMHO!

Ooops - O2 did NOT know who it was - the marketing company in their pre-recorded message did not identify themselves.

In the post above, "they" is refering to the marking company in question.

Thanks for the info guys. It's not just O2 customers though. I think any of the networks can and do pass on your number.

Ring everyday for past week and i just reject reject reject

this number has phoned me 4 times in the last 3 days. its really annoying but its always when im in lessons so i dont answer im on 02 so i dont know whether is is them. if it i think i might change!

How do i get these people to stop calling my number?
