I keep getting messages on my mobile from this number. I only give my number to friends as I had to change a previous number due to unpleasant phone calls

This number calls me everyday, while I'm at work. I would like to know why?

Just got the second call from them in two days. Not too bad, although I hope it doesn't continue. If so I think I will call O2 and deal with it through them rather than answering and giving them a reason to keep calling. However this is an absolute joke, don't we get enough hassle from people selling us kitchens on our landlines? and now our mobiles aren't even safe.

NEVER give details if you do not who the caller is and verified.

Thank goodness for this site. I have discovered who the calls are from through this site. I refuse to answer calls that are unsolicited and all of them are duplicated here, so I know I'm not alone in being harassed by telemarketers.
One of the numbers featured by others users on this site phoned me today (Fri) SEVEN TIMES! According to WCM, it's N-Power or E-On. All these numbers are on reject then I find they use a different number, but only different by one or maybe 2 digits.
On those I've called back, there has never been a verbal response when answered. These calls only mainly made to my mobile and I only have a mobile to keep in contact with my kids and for texting (cos it's free).
There should be some govt legislation to stop the practice of these people. Maybe we need to petition govt, whaddya all think?

they call then cut off in a second I don't get why they would do that.
i got 4 calls in the last umm 3 days i don't ever give my number out infact the people that I only talk to every day have my number, it's gay. i'm gonna answer next time and ask 'em to go away.

08000641087 left me a voicemail after i left it unanswered several times asking me to call 08000136671. Its a telemarketer for O2 contracts, well I'm on O2 already and my number isn't common knowledge so you won't be getting a call back. Cheap insurance - O2 have lost my business.

I was getting 5 or 6 missed calls a day from 0800 064 1087 over a 1 week period. Finally, after giving in I called them back and found out:  To stop them phone 800 013 6671 (free from an O2 mobile phone if you replace 0800 with 800), you will then be promted to press 1 on your keypad to remove you from there database. I havent had any calls since :-)

same here, been pestered by my 02 phone ringing at any time of the day for the last week or so, never picked it up as everyone who i know personally doesn't use 0800 numbers.

i think this is o2 wanting new customers to commit to broadband faster internet ????

Have rung me twice today, I answered the second one and it was a chap from o2 broadband, because I had looked online several months ago to see which of there broadband packages were available in my area.

Got a call this evening from this lot(LBM marketing)..ignored their call but rang them via 1471. They claim to be from o2, I have never had any dealings with o2 so whats going on? My contract with orange ends in a couple of days..coincidence?.. I believe LBM are not representing 02(other people have had calls from LBM the call claims to be from orange, vodaphone etc). This is a marketing company ffishing for business and trying to flog new contracts..AVOID!

horrible, called twice, I didnt answer. Seemed strange to me, so I googled it, and found very ineresting information about this number.If call again, I wont answer. Let them to bother someone else?-)

Yeah they've been phoning me today.

If you call back the same number minus the first "0" and press "1" when directed, you will be taken off their list and will receive no more calls.

o2 tellin me about thier services etc??
