Report a phone call from 08000641087 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Liz HelsbyI have 3 missed calls from 0800 0641087. When I got the first call I rang back but there was a message saying I needed to redial and remove the first zero. As I didn't recognise the number I decided not to call back. They phoned twice again but I was in a hospital and had my phone switched off. I have no idea who it is.

- AngharadYesterday they rang me and i didnt not answer and then today they rang me again twice and i am only 15 and do not need this hassle.
I have tried texting them to say if you carry on ringing me then i will report the number to the police but it wouldnt let me send the message unfortuntely.
But when you buy a phone its to go on the internet, call and text friends etc not to get harrased by someone that noones gonna answer two its ridiculous
i have read some of the comments and i have seen that the number is from 02 well if i get anymore phone calls i am going straight to the 02 shop to make a complaint.

- Mary replies to A| 1 replyHi!
I received a call from this number today asking me for some details, like my name, my date of birth, my address and I regret to have given it to them cause I thought it was normal as I am not from England...
Could you tell me if there are risks that they steal my identity please?
I am very worried about that :-(

- Inside Trader| 1 replyGuys
Enough already. You get silent calls because big businesses who need to call lots of customers use predictive automatic diallers. Sometimes a dialler puts a call through before an agent is ready to take it so you get silence and hang up. LBM are a legitimate company that works officially on behalf of O2, Voda, British Gas, Lloyds Bank, and many other big companies. Do you honestly think these companies would use them if they were dodgy??? Guys it's very easy to stop getting sales calls if you don't want them. Just register with the governments Telephone Preference Service. You can do this at http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/ctps/number_type.html Then all UK companies must stop sales calls to you by law (can take up to 3 months). You may still get them from abroad.
Companies you have an existing relationship with can still call you but the likes of O2, Voda, Orange and any decent company will stop calling you if you tell them properly (IE don't just hang up and expect them to "get the message") it's called "opting out of communications" and they have to let you do it by law. It's very easy just call customer services of any company you have a relationship with and ask them to remove you from any communications. So stop moaning, take control and don't expect businesses in the UK to just stop.. you need to do something yourself that takes 2 minutes. RECAP: Any company can call you to see if you want their products if it wants. You can stop it by registering on TPS site above. Companies that have a relationship with you can call if they want. You can stop it if you call them directly and "opt out of communcations".
All very easy. If you ran a business wouldn't you want to call people to try and get them to take your product? of course you would. Would you want to call people who didn't want your call? no way! so how are they to know if you don't tell them properly? TPS will stop the sales calls from cold callers (ie those companies who you don't already do business with) and calling them direct and opting out takes care of the rest.
Hope this helps.- Caller: None
- Inside Trader replies to MaryNo don't worry if it's from that 0800 number they are legitimate business. They ask these questions sometimes to confirm if you are an existing customer and other times to enhance their database so they know what types of products to sell you.
- Insude Trader replies to DerekCall this number and it will remove you from their database. Also which ever company they are calling you on behalf of call them directly and just ask, politely, to be removed from any calling lists.
