This number called my mobile, they guy said he was from o2, and asked if i could spare 5 minites, he asked me what network i was on, what phone do i have and if i was on contract or pay as you go, not sure if it was a sales call or a survey, but he seemed very polite and wished me a good day

called twice in last month, I answered first time but no one spoke to me. Another call this morning, they hung up before I answered. Very bad company.

Got called today by the same number... and i think regularly every 2 days.... set it as send to voicemail.... i picked it up nobody answered... [***] idiots

Also getting calls, but I got Calls Blacklist App on Android. still get calls but blocks them.
Silly sods still try but I dont hear them it works.

Just got a call from this number two minutes ago and as always I googled the number before answering. To my surprise I saw it was o2.... I'm not on o2. They hung up before i'd even had a chance to get past 0800

I got a call yesterday and when I answered and asked who they were I was told they were calling on behalf of 02, and that they wanted to see if they could offer me a better mobile phone package. I told them that I was perfectly happy with the package I have with my current provider, and was not looking to switch. As I have never been an 02 customer, I demanded to know how they had got my private mobile number. I did not get a satisfactory explanation. Having told them not to bother me again, I got another call today when I was in the middle of a hospital appointment! If you call this number back you get a recorded message informing you that you should call 08000136671 if you no longer wish to receive calls from them! No longer wish to receive calls? I never asked to receive calls in the first place, and still don't know how they got my number! I have now had to opt out of receiving calls from a company that I never wanted to receive calls from in the first place! Either the world has gone mad or I have!!! I'm making an official complaint, and would urge all of you to do the same.

Received a call on 30/8/2013. It was an unsolicited call from O2.

Has it worked? I've had two calls from these guys today, the first day of receiving them thankfully. I read further back in the thread that someone had called the messaged number and removed themselves from the calling list but apparently they still received calls.

been called today on this number been reading all comments on here the thing is mines a pay as you go o2 sim and ive never had any calls ever from them in 8yrs so if it is o2 calling I don't know why?

Odd converstation to say the least. I was very coy, as I dont normally take cold calls but was expecting a call from car insurance company so they got through, conversation went something like:
O2 - How are things with O2
Me - yes great thanks
O2 - We want to offer you and your friends/family some great deals
Me - OK
O2 - Can you confirm your address and postcode
Me - No sorry, I dont give details out unless I have called you on a known number
O2 - We have all the information here but its just to verify details before we can discuss your account
Me - Sorry, I dont give details out unless I call you
O2 - OK, bye - And hung up very quickly

They hung up very quickly when he realised I wasnt going to give him any info what so ever - very suspicious - want to know how they got my name and number, so will ring O2 shortly to find out as if they are selling my details, then I will close my account!

Tried to rearrange my mobile phone contract, I did not understand the thick accent from the lady, told her to go away.

It is stupid for people to have to go though this, they should stop had 4 phone call from throughout last week
