I have had 3 calls from this number, it never rings long enough to answer it.  Last year I received a call just before my contract was up for renewal, as they advised my O2 billing and payments would not change I stupidly thought it was O2, but it wasn't, now I am stuck on this contract and am definitely not getting the best deal. I will not be remaking with O2 at the end of this. I want these calls to stop please.

getting the same as above now, so next time i,m going to answer and just leave the phone, they can talk to thenselves. run they,re bill up. lol

Just got a call and they say they are a marketing company on behalf of O2

who rang me on my mobile off this number

It is O2, but how to lock it on an iphone ?

said they were from o2 and wanted my bank details

had them call twice today ,been in touch with o2 who told me they dont share customer details with 3rd parties ,so yet another bunch of scammers trying it on , i have an i phone so can block the number simple ,but will wait till after the next time they call where i will ,teach them some good old fashioned english phrases ,then block the bas**ar*s

on the i phone ,go to recent calls ,on right hand side of the number is  a i inside a circle in blue press that then below details of the caller number ,is a list scroll right to the bottom where it says block this caller select this & its done

Got a call from 08000641087 and spoke to the lovely Carol; she told me that it was o2 and not a reseller selling on their behalf. Strange that she should call my landline. Anyway had a nice chat but I didn't buy anything.

I've selected "Telemarketer" as the call type but this is "Telesales". So someone needs to add that to the drop-down menu. They also need to add "Phishing" and "Scam" to the list for those occasions where someone is trying to obtain my details or get access to my PC etc.

NOTE TO ADMIN: PLEASE ADD "TELESALES", "PHISHING" AND "SCAM" TO THE CALL TYPE MENU.

Multiple calls over last few days claiming to be O2.
I asked previous caller to validate who they were, they sent a text from 02 UK which contained a code for a promotion.
Tele-marketing almost at its worst.(At least they probably have some connection to O2 although wanting to capture information on usage).
I asked to take my details off their books and still I get a call the next working day.
Very poor Marketing Practice.
As a result there is no way I would do business with this organisation.

Somebody from 08000641087 just called my mobile. It only rang a couple of times but I never answer 0800 calls anyway!  Thanks to the info on this site, the number is now blocked.

Got this call yesterday after work whilst trying to eat my tea. I answered as we are changing our Virgin price plan which also has an 0800 number. Guy announces him self in an overly friendly manner as O2 and that he can get me a better deal (I'll take that in writing please!). Told him I was having my Tea, he replied "Sorry?", I repeated "I am having my tea.", "You're not free?" he said at which point I hung up & blocked the number on my mobile. He got off lucky, had I not been busy I would have strung him along for a very long time just to wind him up. I know people need a job, it's the company I resent. This 0800 has been in use since 2008 according to this thread, why is it still going?

08000641087 keeps calling, I hear blip one missed call,tried   to call it,unrecognised number is the teleprompters announcement.
