I got a call from someone claiming to br DTD european services said i could win a holiday or an audi.... pmsll Anyway they then went on with the usual sales talk to get me to sign up to a lottery. They knew my name address and D.O.B. They asked for bank details and i told them to f**k off, that was my exact words. They had the cheek to call me back within 30 seconds asking for my details i just cut the call off. In responce to anne 19 August post. They told me their number was 08448802598 and that they were based 273-287 Regent street W1B 2HA.
I have no intent to even look them up i see them as scammers.

I feel the need to post again after reading some of the posts. I do agree with what some of the people are saying that you enter yourself into this type of thing, what i would say is the guy who called me claiming to be from DTD LTD was as good as begging for my sort code and account number even after being told to f**k off. He also had the cheek to call me back trying to bully me into giving my information. I am not stupid he only needs sort code and account number to set up a direct debit. He never once mentioned during the conversation anything about a direct debit. Im sorry but no one gets my bank details over a phone and deffo not a company ive never heard of.
They got my mobile number so they can call me when i win the audi or 10,000.
ha ha ha ha  Like its gonna happen!!!!

Like many I received said call as well! Fortunately I work for a company that advice on Scams and potential Scams, so said that I would only complete a paper direct debit mandate, which funnily enough they couldn't supply. As is pointed out in various comments this company is making a healthy profit from each syndicate, which may to some seem excessive. Unless the company fail to return winnings to syndicate members, which doesn’t really seem to be the case, and they are up front about charges etc, and do only take these charges, even though some people seem to be having difficulty cancelling their DDs, which should not really be the case. All in all they are not operating a scam but could be seen as operating unethically, in their approach methods, i.e. using the car/cash draw as a carrot to keep people on the line. I haven’t looked into the prize draw, but when said chap phones back I will obtain details about the draw and prize winners list, to see if it conforms to the laws relating to prize draws, but I am assuming that it does given the information that I found on the internet about this company.

At the end of the day if you want to join the choice is yours, the charges in my mind are excessive, in relation to the payouts the people on here are talking about. A direct debit mandate offers a level of protection that said, I personally wouldn’t set up a mandate over the phone with anyone who calls me, if I call them that’s different.

The company seems legit, but I haven’t checked to see if they are registered with the lotteries commission to run syndicates. The Ts&Cs seem to cover THEM in the event of some [***]-up and them not being able to pay up. Just remember at the end of the day ALL companies (with the exception of a small number) are out to make money, which involves you parting with money for a service or product, all you have to do is weight up if the service this company is offering is worth the charges.

The choice is yours, I’m giving this a miss personally.

My niece had a call from DTD European Services Ltd yesterday, telling her she had won a competition she doesnt remember entering, and offering her a bulk buy into the Euro lotto. The worst part is that she foolishly gave them her bank details because she is convinced, that she could win some cash prize. Her mom and i advised her to cancel any DD she has set up with them, but she wont listen. Has anyone out there had any dealings with this company or, aware of who these people are, and if there's any chance of them fraudulently withdrawing cash from her account?. Please advise us what to do. Thanks. I personally wouldnt give my bank details out to any company i dont know. Let's hope my niece doesnt learn a hard lesson!

I received a call from the same services yesterday and as I was busy at work, I asked them to call back today...
The guy was very polite and explained all about the address and company details.
He got my number from a lottery as well... (don't know how he got my office number????)
I am not a gambling man so I was totally unaware of how this works... Very nicely he told me that every line is for 5p only and bla bla bla...
He never told me that there is a weekly subscription and that the term is minimum 3 months..
Only when he asked me about the bank details that I became suspicious... he was not at all willing to talk about how much I need to pay for the great 5p offer...
All that he was interested in was my bank details and trying to get the information out... Luckily I dodged his requests as I don't like to give my bank details and that too in such a hurry..
I think they are a scam as they were not willing to reveal any information that I requested...
Eventually its your own choice but I would suggest to be more careful...
By the way, people have talked about winning??? £68 or £75???
Three month direct debit @£44.00 is £132.00 .. how come people are happy with such small winnings... May be this is the ignorance of a non-gambling person...

Just had call from these people as well after weeks of phone ringing and then no one being on the line when. The man was pretty pushy and wanted me to sign up for the euromillions deal. When I refused to give any bank details over the phone, he tried to convince me I was being ridiculous. I hung up and will not be answering again.

call from these delightful scammers tonight . They get your details from competitions online just as others have said on here . I know this to be true because I always use a different email for comps because of all the spam :)
"trevor" who called me sounded as if he was west african and reading from a script (which he was) . Unable to give up on his ultimate goal of extracting my bank details though - even when I said I have just "googled" you and its a scam ! I thanked him for his entertaining call and hung up  - 20 seconds later - he called again - doh!! - do you not get it trevor ? I am not giving you my bank details !

    Very Annoyed
Its exactly as everyone says - A SCAM!!

They asked for your details, and want you to sign up to a lottery syndicate that only has 100 members (yeah right 100 people that they have called today more like!!)

I did the same as the comment before this one and googled the company and this thread came up!!

    DONT SIGN UP!!!!!!
