Ringing me at various times of the day on my mobile  - I haven't answered them yet - I just ignore it.
But getting to the point of giving some verbal abuse as they are invading my time  & space with their harassment calls.

Not only are Domestic and General bombarding me with extended warranties by post, they are now ringing my private undisclosed home landline. What is the point of the TPS service?

No, TPS doesn't work. If anything it possibly offers a nice list of working phone numbers to dodgy companies. This phone number leaves a number of missed calls in a day every now and then.

I've dialled the number to cancel the calls - 0800 444 232 - to see what happens now. The answering service asks for full name and postcode. No way I am leaving those details but left a message containing only my phone number and asking them to remove it from their database. Let's see...

I got a lot calls from them, so today it was payback time! started ringing their quote department  made about 30 calls in 2 hours  , just told them to stop ringing me '  their number is  141 08444 810 104 or 141 08444 810500  then press 1 for a quote , ( don't forget the 141 to withhold your number ) they were fairly fed up with me as spoke to same operator several times , sad I know but it was fun on a rainy afternoon

These people are parasites and when you let them drone on for 5 minutes they hang up when you tell them you don't want their worthless product - football whistle treatment next time!

This lot keep calling my mobile, usually at mealtimes which is really annoying. My son answered once and they asked for Mrs "MaidenName" so I can only assume that Argos passed on my number to Domestic & General after I arranged delivery of a new fridge-freezer for my elderly mum. I don't recall giving them permission to do so...

I have had four calls from them this week but I did not pick up.I am with Talk Talk and you can now bar them  free of charge.I have now done this.

These buggers kept calling all morning which I ignored, and didn't bother leaving a message. I'm on TPS and from the replies above this is actually a UK based company, so if they call a single person on TPS they have committed a criminal act, so anyone here who has their details and are on TPS should report them to Ofcom. I would myself but I didn't speak to them to confirm their details.

Had this one while I was away yesterday so missed them.

Had loads of calls from these people - they are a nuisance.

Had a blocked call from this number at 13:45 on 17 march 2014. It was the second this year hence the block.

Now had three calls today. The original at 13:45, then one at 17:02 followed by one at 19:18. God I love call blockers.

Domestic and General trying to sell appliance warranties. Only called the once today (so far) and that went to answer phone, with no message left, it's now been blocked so phone won't even be ringing again at my end! If I wanted a policy I'd contact them!  They seem to be having a big push on people who used to have policies with them, I guess their turn over must be down!
If you have EVER had a policy with them (most manufacturer warranties are!), they are within their legal right to call to check if you want a extension or a new product, the TPS only stops 'new' companies ringing you (allegedly), On a positive note I've found there service to be quite good if a product breaks down, but still no excuse for these persistent phone calls!

Get caller display.  Costs me 99p month with PlusNet. I see the number and don't answer.  Don't bother with TPS

Had 3 calls from this number in 1 day.
Answered it the third time and just left my phone on the side whilst they talked to themselves until they got fed up.
Annoying for them.
Satisfying for me knowing that they are wasting their own time and money.

What's the reason of calling

Just received a silent call from them - my mind was elsewhere and I answered without looking at the number - big mistake!! Must be more diligent. TPS is a waste of time - I seem to get more and more of these calls and usually let them go to answerphone so they soon click off. This one obviously didn't have an agent to pick it up so no doubt it will roam around to me later!! I do wish BT would do something worthwhile and really make themselves popular by freely blocking these calls - somehow. I also wish people with private numbers wouldn't register them as 'withheld' then complain when you don't answer them.
