Asking about my oven then Trying to offer me 25% discount and asking if I had any others items like fridge/freezer's but I when I said no the women put the phone down on me. Stop calling me!!!!!

I've had two calls from D&G today, I answered both calls (so I could tell them to get lost), and they put the phone down on me each time, without speaking.

They have a nunber of campaigns so you may be taken of one campaign but your number will xome through on another campaign for another deal. Becauae you are existing customers, brought a new appliance from Argos, Indesit or Hot point,  had a repair, direct debit lapsed or have used domestic ands general then you will be called.
If you answer and ask to be removes you shouldnt be called for few months.

I have registered with TPS but I still seem to be getting calls from this number, two today so far.  They are silent calls and no-one speaks.  Very annoying.  Harassment.

Domestic and General up to their old tricks again, cold calling, and clearing as soon as my answer machine cuts in. They ring daily in spite of me being in the T.P.S.

Just answer with " Hello......  Erm No Speak English!"

Not had a call since.

So this is the lot that try to do the hard sell on extended warranties. They have just called my mobile but I didn't answer so it must relate to a fridge'freezer I bought from Hotpoint as a replacement for their previous product that failed after just 20-months,

Worst mistake I made was to do an insurance comparison via that moneysupermarket website.  Ever since I have been inundated with missed calls from insurance companies!

If you use web sites that request your number, they want it for only one thing.   To call you.       Just replace the last three digits of your number with zeroes.

Good on you I have blocked the number along with several others.  They may only be doing their job BUT WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE WHO CONTACTS US ON OUR HOME PHONE WE PAY A MONTHLY CHARGE FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE...SO NOPE IT DOESNT STRIKE ME AS ODD!  It baffles me why we should justify HAVING THE RIGHT NOT TO PERMIT Unwanted CALLS/Callers invading our privacy especially as we pay for access to the telephone communication service and some of us OPT TO HAVE OUR TELEPHONE NUMBERS EX-Directory and select WHO WE PROVIDE OUR NUMBER TO....I made the mistake of providing this info via an insurance search on the moneysupermarket site...big mistake..in future I shall have to give the wrong number to evade further unwanted pursuit via companies using this method..which, limits our choice when using comparison sites if they choose to relay such details to third parties after providing a quote..what a palaver!

Hi. If they call again, answer it and press 9 and hang up without speaking. I have done this and it does work. Good luck

I have been called about a dozen times by this company ,I do not answer the phone

youn can ring the head office reception on 0800 561 4493 and ask why they call you 8+ times a day - a taste of their own medicine !!!!!

0800444231 phoned today. it's Domestic & General they wan't you to purchase there cover for repairs. if you have bought a washing machine and the guarantee has ran out or you have just registered it this is why they have phoned you.

TPS is useless, I now have a call blocker attached to my phone and though some calls still come through at least I can then block them so they can't call again!!

By a CPR Callblocker and they will not get through...

I am really very frustrated because i have been bombarded with calls from this number,sometimes several times a day.I did answer once but could not understand what the caller was saying as they must have been foreign.I am often pestered with calls from numbers that i do not recognise ,which i refuse to answer.I am registered with TPS.

I got my blocker from Amazon  as well best thing ive ever bought, I don't under stand why people even try TPS thy don't do anything , buy a blocker and get your life back ;-)
