this number keeps calling me

This number, is  constant from morning  through to late evening...
The caller will not leave a message.
It is VERY FRUSTRATING!!

I have come to an arrangement with Crapital One yet i am still receiving numerous calls on a daily basis, not to mention texts and emails! They never speak though when answered the line just goes dead after a few seconds. Pain in the proverbial!!

They call me about 10 times a day for the past 2 weeks. They always hang up or I can't understand them! If its that important they can leave a msg or call my landline, which they never do.

Long pause after pick up, then in a very quiet whispery voice asked for a name I have not heard of, when I asked the person to repeat, the line went dead.   What a waste of time and money

constanly getting calls from this number lately ,I never answer from these numbers and  when phone goes to answer phone it goes dead ,how can we reply if they don't leave a message not that anyone in my house hold has an account with capital one if that's who it is

they use mobile numbers too and about 5 other numbers crafty gits im due them £12 but you would think it was thousands as ive had seven calls already today the last time I anwered I couldnt understand a word she was saying so hung up on her

I have had 6 calls yesterday (9/11/13)  and i've had 2 today so far...  you answer then there's a silence then someone says hello I didnt give a chance today, I shouted down the phone to tell em to stop calling me.......

Yes capital one foreign call centre, I have this number blocked on my mobile so they can't get through so now they have taken to ringing me at work everyday. It's usually the same very rude woman.

Yes I'm constantly getting calls from these people all hrs of the day and night and weekends it's really frustrating I never answer the calls as never answer numbers that are not in my phone

we have never dealt with capitol one ,our number was supposed to be ex directory we have had it from November 2013 when we moved in to this flat

These people ring constantly from and including 8a.m. on a Sundays!!!!! onwards and then  all day long. They ask for your capital bank details etc. No way would I trust them even if not a scam. DO NOT accept this call. I do use this bank occasionally but do not owe them money so why do they continually ring. Always foreigners (eastern accents) so assume therefore its a scam. They even tell you to ring a number they offer to give you to check to see if it is  a bank number. More suspicious as anyone could say that if pre-arranged at the other end......BEWARE. BE ON YOUR GUARD!!!!!
Banks nearly always write to you not ring  especially on SUNDAYS.

This number has called me 4 times so far, they aren't even asking for me. So I'm getting hassled by Capitol one, who I have never had any dealings with what so I ever I might add, and they're not even trying to hassle me. 😤
It is not totally out of place for a bank to give you a number to call them back on in order to verify who they are however, this is common practice for some banks when making outbound calls. You could give the customer the number but then tell them to go to your website (as they would normally, if they bank with you they should be fairly familiar with what the website address is, or they could google it) they can then see they have been given a genuine number.
Pretty sure they are not allowed to call on a Sunday or after a certain time, maybe 8 or 9pm.

I've already told these people they have the wrong number but they keep calling, the guy tonight got a little bit of an earful after he asked what my name was to ensure I didn't get called again. I was like, 'what so you can deliberately hassle me instead of accidentally?!' Fool!

Easy, do as I do with these prats. Call them back on their 0800 number (remember to dial 141 first to withhold your number) then speak gobbledegook on the phone " ohh dung shoaw par splong" is a good opener! When they deal reasonably and sensibly with customers they'll get a decent response. Until then let them pay for the call and waste THEIR time.

They are capital one credit card they have phoned me 10 times a day for the last 6 months someone has to report them

this number has phoned me for the last 10 months and I would like to report it I think they are called capital one  credit card

this number has called me 3 times today the last call was 20.12. They don't leave a message. reading other posts it seems to be Capital one.I don't have/never had one of their cards.  

follow up to my last post it's 11.40 Sunday Morning and they have rang 3 times already!!!!! no one there when answered
