Capital One called me to let me know that I was close to my credit limit but I didn't answer as I didn't recognise the number They called me back a few days later and after making a payment by debit card they removed the over limit and late payment fee.

Unknown company as was at work from the comments think it may be capital one - they did ring me yesterday but from a different number
told them yesterday i will not confirm any of my details with a  number i do not recognise

Defo capital one...They will constantly harass you until payment shows their end..Rude arrogant ppl that usually prey on the needy...

Capital One calling asking for someone else. I've told them 4 times and asked them to remove my number. I've blocked them.

We still want our money!   That high pitched tone gave me earache,  and I was off work for a week with it. So you'll be paying my weeks wages as well as the money you owe.  Call us now.  You can never escape capital one,  we will hunt you down to the end of the earth until we get what's owed to us. I was recently sent to Outer Mongolia to retrieve money from someone who owed us £48.97. I found him hiding out in a tent with a can of beans.   I dragged him 68 miles to the nearest cashpoint where he paid me his money.  I will find you and you will pay!

Constantly ringing two or theee times a day, all uninvited. Please shut them down.

Just received a call from 08005610170. They  asked to confirm my name and  then hung up!.  Very weird!!!

This is Capital one..I do owe a payment,but they will have to wait till after Crimbo,lol

Definitely capital one normally I ignore but they caught me off card I told them I have no money and have entered into a debt management plan with step change, step change have also contacted them they are still calling 7 times a day have blocked the number still calling  All hours of the day and night and Sunday
Never will I have any accounts with them at all worse company ever for hounding - last month I got ten calls a day for a debt of £5.37!

Just rang these people back following non stop calls over the past 3 days. Very polite female operative answered. Explained to her I do not have a Capital One card, am listed with the TPS and am fed up with the constant phone calls (I don't answer numbers I don't recognise). She has assured me that after 24 hours I will receive no more calls from them.

Yes . It is Capital 1. However if they can't be bothered to leave a message asking me to call them. Then I haven't the inclination to call them off my own back.

Its Capitol One. Calling for a debt but I kept refusing the call as I was under the impression I wasn't in debt on my card. Just checked and somehow I had £9 available on my (low limit) card, used £4 on the 23/01 and now £15 over my limit, which is what theyre chasing?! Either I completely do not understand how these things work or something has gone quite wrong!

This has happened twice yesterday and once today at17.17pm they don't speak and then they hang up after a couple of seconds

Capital pun (ishment), fair play,in have missed a couple of payments.
But it's nearly impossible to sort it out because communication with the call centre is a intelligible  joke.

These animals keep calling my landline, I have now blocked them. I don't even have an account with them!
