38 calls in 46 days & I'm registered with the TPS - never leave a message just hang up.  I too have blocked them but also reported them to the Information Commissioner's Office - ico.org.uk - and cited this website so they can receive a hefty fine. It would appear the caller is Capital One - never heard of them and have no connections with them.

Apparently its capital one, but when you answer no one speaks then it goes off ??

Why are you letting your 7 year old daughter answer the phone to unknown numbers anyway? Even my 4 year old knows better than that.

They can dial mobiles as they ring mine, never my landline!

Ringing 24/7

Capital One having a moan about late payment. They call several times a day. Makes me want to not pay them at all, nag nag nag.

just received a call from this number, a woman said something in a foreign language then just hung up !

A call center that chases up accounts for Capital One. When you answer they normally hang up.

This number has called me dozens of times. I have no business in any way with Capital One, however I have a BT call blocker phone which works perfectly and lists all incoming calls, if you block it your phone does not ring but lists the call. So the can ring until the cows come home but they will not get an answer from me !!!

No idea who this is but I do not have any credit cards or loans so if this is capital one then it is FRAUDULENT!

Just had a call from this number from someone claiming to be from Capital One. Following some introductions in broken English, he then asked for my details...... I then asked him for proof of who he was. (I asked for the name of the street on which he was calling from) He couldn't answer me, and then asked again for my details...... so I asked him again.... refused to answer..... hhmmm

Turned out that it was Capital One chasing me as I had missed my last payment.

I don't know if this is really Capital One or not. Always a huge delay, lots of lag and an accent which is so difficult to understand it just seems "fake"

Twice in two days isn't excessive, but I don't believe it's Capital One; the accents are VERY heavy, they ring ME & then ask to confirm MY details (uh I don't think so) ... then I tell them that they rang me & I am not in the habit of giving out personal information to just any old twonk that calls ... guess what ... HANG UP their end!

I work with virtual telephone numbers on an almost daily basis & I can tell you that getting one is simple, & the last Capital One person I spoke to was in Tyneside.  It's likely that a scam group has obtained or spoofed a genuine number & are trying it on.
