Hi- just flicking through as I have received a few calls recently from these numbers. I have declined their various offers of warrantys - I don't have Sky!

I actually live in Bournemouth, very close to where all these firms operate from. I also know a few people who work in the call centres. They are attracted by promises of good earnings in return for short working weeks, incentives etc.

the local recruitment agencies etc do not recruit for these firms purely because of what their reputation is like locally.

From what I have been told by these staff & ex-staff, the job is very pressurised and only a few people earn a decent wage. Staff turnover is also very high - you do see a lot of recruiting going on locally.

I can confirm that to date, these firms do operate from the Post Office Rd address and also the Richmond hill address, along with a few other satellite companies in town sprouting up from other locations. In Bournemouth there must be about 5 or 6!

I have a direct debit from my bank each month for £5, To" Elite Sky Repairs" and am, so far very happy, only one thing concerns me and that is a lack of paperwork, just need something printed to put into my desk, so it is convenient for anyone in the household to look at, in case of breakdow and the need for someone from "Elite Sky Repair" to be contacted. I would be grateful if this one condition could be addressed. Thankyou for any help you can give me.

This company refuses to help - the policy owner is unwell recovering from an operation; the skybox is not working, I have POA but they want it by post (I do understand about data protection) but then they say I can only use an 0800 number to call them and yet if I am going to try and get my father to talk to them it will have to be from my mobile.  NO HELP at all.  We are here with no tv/satellite and intermittent wifi going to ask an ill man to sort out how to get someone to sort his sky box!???
