I've had regular missed calls off this number but always rejected it. Googled the number and found out all this information about it being a scam!

Just had the 08080000144 number flash up on my phone and answered it before it even rang!
A supprised & slightly confused male voice asked his collegue in the background "Did it go thru?".
They then hung up. The numpties.

Ive had this number call me a few times this week, i normally miss the first on of the day then when they call again i reject it. it seems to stop them calling for a couple of day then they try again. this normally goes on for about a week then i hear nothing from them for a month or two. have never answered the call but if it is vodafone then they've prob got my number from some sort of data base, im an o2 PAYG customer and always have been. makes me want to answer it next time so i can speak to someone anad tell them to stop

I've had at least one every day for the last week and not answered.  I am not, and never have been Vodafone.  Won't be answering it in future!

I get calls from them every day this week, I answered one but didn't say anything, I just let them stew to see how long they would hang on for, then I whistled down the phone..heh...guy said 'hello?' waited a while longer then hung up!

Might actually answer one time and give them a false name, which they will of course confirm (as they don't have my name!) and see what I can get from them....

Don't know if they have started this again but I have a missed call from here, I'm not on vodafone, never have been, so hope i get to answer the next time they call!

call made to mobile, @ 14.05 4 dec 2009....went to answer it and waited for a reply...no reply on other end, hung up...strange as many people have had the same number ring them...Scam Numbers suck

Just got a call from this number today saying that they where ringing from Vodafone home internet, didn't continue the conversation with them.

I've had 2 missed calls as well, just googled a number and find out Im lucky. They even called my Orange number. Unbelievable...

Got a call from them as well, though not sure how they got hold of my full name. They also keep calling back, tired of this!

im not even on vodafone... but when they call me back i will answer and spend a long time letting them go through all the fake information i pass onto them and thinking they will get a sale!! maybe the longer they spend on the phone the less likely they are to scam some other poor person!!!I may even put them on hold whilst i cook my tea!!

i have been getting calls from this numberevery day for the past couple of weeks, and refuse to answer it! Amazing how many people have had the same number ringing them and all been told it is Vodafone calling!! Im not even on vodafone, never have been so god knows where they have got my number from! Must be a scam! Silly people! Thank god for sites like this!!!

Have received several calls from these guys.  Never answer to the number.   They generally call constantly for about a week then give up.

I just answered a call from this number about 5 minutes ago and it was to see if I was interested in joining a hate campaign against Simon Cowell!!

Thing is, this number has been relentlessly calling me for about a month now. Never answer, always give the busy tone. However, I'm NOT with Vodafone. I'm on O2...

Today I got 3 missed calls from this number. Each one left a blank voicemail for a couple of minutes. I'm O2 business plan & have been for almost 10 years. I have never used bluetooth because I don't want things hacked. Really wierd and glad I googled it and found this site. Might check with O2 tomorrow to check they haven't reverse-charged any calls. Plus I don't want this to go on for months like other people. Time to block these scammers out of the game....

Hi guys, the number that is calling us is LBM Marketing.  Anyone on here saying things like: 'It's Vodafone calling you with an amazing offer' are probably LBM employees...

Anyway, my story:

Wow, these guys are ridiculous.

I recently posted my CV on a popular job search site and LBM (the cold callers who call from the above number) immediately responded, offering me an interview. They must have only quickly looked at my CV and not given it much thought, because the offer came within a couple of hours of me posting my CV... Suspicious? I thought so too. So I decided to do some research into the company and found online that they are cold callers and it was a commission based job with a VERY bad wage. I obviously politely declined the interview.

Here's the kicker, since declining the interview they have obviously added me to their spam list and I have just received a 'sales call' from some woman about Vodafone. I was sat at my desk at my new job, so immediately hung up when I realised it wasn't important. I then googled the number and found this page and realised it was the same company who wanted me in for an interview.

I think it's [***] disgraceful that they're using applicant's personal details to try and boost their sales. I'm tempted to stop at their office on the way home.

Any thoughts?

this number was called to my landline but luckily we missed it.  Guess they are trying phone numbers now.

yeah i had a call 2222 they were asking me 2 verify my pin and tellin me they're from vodafone when infact I'm on 3g. loosers
askin for all private info, people dnt give ur personal info away unless you want to get mugged
