I had a call of this number, and I'm not on vodaphone either; sketchy!

Who owns this number, this is the 3rd time i've had a call, but never answer it

I keep recieving calls from this number but keep ignoring untill I had checked it up - I'm not even with Vodafone so next time they ring I will answer and see what they are supposedly offering!

It has been on the news that certain companies (T-mobile being one of them) that have illegally SOLD customers numbers on. It was stated that the people in question from T-mobile were going to be prosecuted for this. I think that these companies must find a way of not having our details on some database that is accessible to all and sundry that work for their company. When my next upgrade comes up I am going to have to ask for a new sim and for my details to be exdirectory and then see what happens when I start getting these dodgy calls again. If I do I will be looking at pursuing this matter further.

I just had a couple of missed calls off them, and I agree its probably a scam as i'm not even on vodaphone - i'm on O2! Definately won't be giving out my information. Thanks for the warning!!!

I'm on O2 aswell, had a call from this number today and when I answered it they hung up. Dont think I will answer any more calls from this number, thanks for info.

They have been ringing me 2/3 times a day for about a week,which i ignored.

Today i answered, and they said is this kirstie?. i said no, wrong number and hung up.

Even though i am kirstie haha. Opppps.

They have been ringing me non stop for a week.  I have picked up and not spoken, after a while the line goes dead.  Today they asked if 'Is that Jane?'  I asked who was speaking and the line went dead.  Rang the number back and it won't connect.  Fed up with this now...if they ring again they will get a mouthful of abuse.

Been ringing me all week... i gave up and answered in the end. Called claiming it's about my mobile contract but had to ask what network I was on? Then started asking about my families mobile phones so I hung up.

I've had two missed calls from this number this week and today they've called. I answered it took ages for somebody to actually answered, and sounded like the foreign guy off 'fonjacker', so kindly said, 'not interested, thank you' and put the phone down.

I have not recently upgraded, nor am I a Vodaphone customer

Just answered the phone to this number, some bloke shouted down the phone " turn that air conditioning down! Turn it down" then hung up .... What was that all about????? I thought it was maybe one of those prank numbers that gets you to argue with them while you'd mates listen in. I never rang back I just thought it must be some kind of scam maybe to get me to ring back and charge me £stupid a minute.
I'm with orange so doubt it's vodaphone. but I do keep having these calls from people trying to sell me their services since shopping on "Go Compare"

I have received calls from this number as well.  I have never managed to answer it before my voicemail picks it up, but it will be interesting to see if they say they are Vodafone when I am an O2 customer!

This number has rang me, I have not yet answered, but I will. I have an 02 account so god knows why they are calling me, I do have a guess though.. My nokia n97 was on the vodafone network but it was unlocked. Im gonna have fun with this.

Just had a call from this number and Im on tesco pay as you go so theres obviousy a new scam going down - beware

this number phoned me about a month ago and i ignored it, googled the number and saw what everyone had posted.they rang again yesterday and i ignored it again but this time the answer machine picked something up, i could the bloke on the other end say to someone else "which operating system?" BEWARE they could have a new scam!

got a call from them today as well. And they knew my name!! When i said i wasn't interested, they hang up, but now i am afraid that they could do sth with my name and my number. Is there anything i can do about it??

I am not even on Vodaphone and they called to go through details of my account with them. Sounds like a true scam to me.

I am glad I googled this number. I had a missed phone call from it today while I was at work. I saw my phone ringing but didn't answer it as the number looked starnge and  it was unknown to me. Recently another similar number called me (same story- didn't pick up but googled it) Absolutely all the same I found a list of comments about some people representing themselves as a CHarity. That makes me think it might have something to do with a guy who stopped me on the street about 3-4 weeks ago and silly me, gave him my number thinking it was about a charity (save the kids in Africa , supply clean water). Funny enough I was thinking to take part in that sort of charity , so it just happened when I was thinking to do it anyway, spooky.
Anyway, ... guys, one advise don't answer the phone.

I've had 2 phone calls already from these people and I'm an O2 customer, they asked for me by name but sounded dodgy. The backround noise always sounds like a busy call centre, its probably a contractor someones hired to drive up sales. Dodgy? Not half!
