Received a call from 08433270163 saying Natwest and Virgin have been made to drop Credit card charges and to find out if you can get them press 5.

just got a call from them as well. So many people here are complaining and it seems none of us can do anything about it, such a sad scenario. I listed them and each time when they call I shall post their numbers here and in hope someone will know who they are. I am pleading them to stop these as I have received so many in the time of 10 months. they just pass our details off to another firm and the phone just do not stop at all. I am ex-directory, TPS and ofcom registered for nuisance calls and yet is not stopping. See below if anyone is receiving the same kind of calls as I have and do research online to identify and named and shamed them. Someone out there somewhere knows who they are!!!!!!! STOP THESE.

and looking at the procedure described for automated calls I can see no remedy for the victims who post here.

The complaints procedure requires us to quote the full name, address and postcode of the abusing company but we only have the phone number disclosed by caller ID.

We often have no mechanism to trace the correct details of the company as even if we did call back the revenue sharing numbers that are offered via CLI there is no guarantee that accurate information would be given to us.

The ICO could of course trace the registered details of the caller from the phone number but their complaints form implies that they cannot accept a complaint which only gives the calling number.

The procedure also requires us to contact the calling company to ask them to stop before making a complaint. I simply will not contact these people to beg them to stop calling, given their ongoing sharp practices I have no reason to expect that they would honour this request or respect the full personal details I would be required to give them to have my request processed. This is in addition to the necessity to call them on their revenue sharing number to request a stop.

At present, ICO is a chocolate fireguard, what's the point in the watchdog having teeth if you have to shake it for weeks just to get it to wake up?

So will you or Relax Telecom PLC 06777698 http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/relax-telecom give us the name of the client company who continues to call us?

I see that Relax Telecom PLC were previously known as MYSTERY CITY SHOPPER LTD 06881854 http://www.companiesintheuk.co.uk/ltd/mystery-city-shopper which indicates that they're well into phone spam.

Perhaps they are just passing themselves off as a Telecommunications Carrier, rather than a Telepest client.

How can I stop getting these calls

These maniac keep disturbibg my concentration when I am working. If my wish could have been granted just like Matilda guess what I would wish for?

Keep getting silent calls from them.

How about just ignore ANY call from an 0843 number...

Makes sense to most normal thinking people...Err...as not to answer phone calls from numbers that you dont know...

2 - 3 times a week now with a pre-recorded message,  Don't know who they are and seemingly no opt-out option.  Selling some 'claim back you charges' scheme.  Pain in the [***].

Who are they? Just had a call saying I had been mi-A3ssold payment protection insurance and inviting me to complete a survey.

no idea who this is.

I ve just emailed them telling them to remove my phone number other wise I ll be telling the police that there cold calling and that its all hasrment . So we shall see if it stops if not defo will be telling the police .

it's an automated message about natwest reducing some fees. i sent a message on their website (above), saying my number is ex directory. let's see if they do as they're told...

this number called several times a day, one day i counted it as 12 times but my home is empty when they call!! It needs to stop!
