had a call from 08433270163 saying natwest have been made to drop creddit card charges and to find out if you can get them press 5

this number calls me 3 - 4 times a day, very annoying!!!

keep having very annoying calls for nat west etc please doooooooooo something about it thankyou

Another nusiance call

Left on answer machine 29/03/2011:             For information......................speech following this was muffled.

This number called at 14:08 saying that Natwest, Halifax and another bank have been made to drop credit card charges due to some sort of Financial regulation and that £300 million was available, to find out if you qualify press 5. *2 second pause* or to be removed from out database press 9.

I have done neither because I am a Natwest customer, however I'm going to talk to Natwest and see if there is any truth in this (highly unlikely)

So ANYONE who gets a call from this PRESS 9!

I have just done the same thing and now I'm worried as to the outcome.  What happened to you, did they charge you stupid amounts of money for the call when you pressed 5.    It only just happened to me today so I am concerned as to what will happen.

This number has called several times, I have know idea who it is and they leave no message.

Sick and tired of receiving calls from this number.

Received calls yesterday and today commencing with message about Natwest, Halifax and Virgin being forced to reduce their credit card charge rates.   Asks you to press 5 for more information, or 9 to remove your number from the database.   Yesterday I pressed 9, but still received a call this morning so I pressed 5.   When I protested about the intrusion on my privacy a distinctly Carribean voice told me that I should learn some manners!   Pests

I pressed 9 and then it said something quickly about a charge. I assume this i an acceptance of a reverse charge call. What a bunch of lowlife scum. BT should warn people about this as I didn't know it was possible to do this.

Ofcom are not going to get off their [***] and do what they are paid to do its time somebody put a fire under these [***].

08433270163 have called me twice today already and its only just turned 11am! We have only got our land line phone for our internet- we havent given given this number to our families due to me and my partners jobs we are rarely in the house so we always use our mobiles as our primary number for family and business/banks etc

This is deffinatly a cold caller!!

Another nuisance call from their computers, this happens regularly, they ignore our NO CALLS TPS entry, should be locked up

I just got a call from them as well. So many people here are complaining and it seems none of us can do anything about it, such a sad scenario. I listed them and each time when they call I shall post their numbers here and in hope someone will know who they are. I am pleading them to stop these as I have received so many in the time of 10 months. they just pass our details off to another firm and the phone just do not stop at all. I am ex-directory, TPS and ofcom registered for nuisance calls and yet is not stopping. See below if anyone is receiving the same kind of calls as I have and do research online to identify and named and shamed them. Someone out there somewhere knows who they are!!!!!!! STOP THESE.

PLEASE STOP!!!!

I have been receiving so many cold calls it is unbelievable. when I put in a complaint to Ofcom, I had to fill in a form and with my address and email ID and phone number, this is making feel more vulnerable because I am practically handing all personal details to them and then I got a reply they said they do not take up with the culprits and they only monitor the numbers I have supply them. This is just add on another stress when they have everything of me including mobile and who the service provider is as well.

OFCOM--- IF YOU ARE GENUINELY DOING YOUR JOB AND NOT TO JUST MAKE US SEND IN ALL PERSONAL DETAILS AND WHO KNOWS YOU MIGHT BE USING THE INFO TO SELL ON TO OTHER PARTIES!!!!!!!!!!!

Said they were Lloyds Bank and could get me a refund of interest overcharges on what had been sold to me. Said to press 5 to continue or 9 to be deleted from database. I just hung up, I dont bank with Lloyds!

Whenever you receive an unknown call that asks you to press 5 or 9 or any other digits, do not press
anything. Even if they say press a 'digit' to have your number removed from their database. DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING. It is very likely to be a SCAM that redirects the call to a premium rate service and this will cost you a lot of money. Just put the phone down. If the calls persist, report it to BT or your telephone companys Nuisance-calls department and keep reporting it if the calls continue. Their number is listed in the phone directory

Second nuisance call today of two different numbers this being the last number called I answered and got no response then it hung up wish they wud do 1
