This time 084332700163 they are enquiring about home insulation grants.  We have been pestered for weeks with a 000000000000 number.  The caller when challenged told me he was phoning from Pakistan - I ended up shouting at him not to ring our number again (I had asked them previously but they seem deaf).  
They have also just rung as BPI Claims Help Line.

Please can someone stop these people.

It has been brought to our attention that there are a number of complaints in relation to calls originating from numbers allocated to the Relax Telecom plc Network.

We would like to state categorically that these calls are not being made by Relax Telecom plc. We are a Telecommunications Network that provide telecom solutions to numerous companies - we are NOT however a marketing company nor do we provide or implement any voice broadcast or auto dialler facilities.

It would seem that the automated calls in question are using software that display CLI’s (Caller ID’S) that are built on to them.  The nature of this software means that any CLI can be programmed to be displayed. In this case Relax Telecom plc CLI’s are being displayed.

In addition to this, Relax Telecom plc are not delivering these calls via our Network. The service we have actually provided across this range is an inbound only service, pointing to a standard IVR system. This system is provided to a reseller Relay Station, who has informed us that they had allocated the range to the Service Provider SCD Comms who can be contacted at info@scdcom.com

Unfortunately, because it is not our own Network that the calls are being made from, we cannot do anything directly to stop the calls. We can however withdraw the number range and the inbound service connected to it and we are currently investigating the situation to make a further decision on this.
If anyone can kindly provide any further information with regards to the nature of these calls we would be very grateful. In the meantime we would also like to state that we are happy to contact this company on your behalf, if you do not wish to contact them and request the removal of your details – all requests and information can be sent to nuisancecalls@relaxtelecom.co.uk

got 3 calls in a half-hour from this number! something about PPI refund unclaimed

So how come I've just had a nuisance call from this number? I don't believe you have done so and I'm forwarding my complaint to the ICO - together with your claim to have withdrawn the number.

We are categorically NOT making any calls to individuals  - the calls that you are receiving are not from Relax Telecom plc nor are they using the Relax Telecom plc network. The company calling you is using equipment that displays a CLI (caller ID) that is programmed into it. If you are receiving calls from 0843 327 0163, the source of those calls are using that CLI without our permission. They could just have easily programmed the equipment to show your telephone number.

Please do speak to the ICO, they should be able to confirm with you that what we are stating is true. We would also very much appreciate when they do so, that you will re-post this on the forum, as we are being incorrectly accused of something that we do not conduct.

I just got a an automated call. A women's recorded voice saying "welcome to PPI help line our records show you have not received a refund".  Relax Telecom, if they are responsible for this number, can withdraw it and contact the telephone companies to ensure any call with this CLI is sent down the bit bucket.

Called this afternoon, saying that I had not claimed PPI insurance, and could be in line for £1000s. Since I have NEVER paid any PPI, I doubt that very much.

Called just now claiming be be from (I think - was a bit quiet) BCI and giving the PPI patter.

This number has been waking up my frail sick 95 year old father every morning for weeks. I have complained about it to the relevent authorities to no avail. We have now paid for talktalk to block the number now they are ringing on a different number as I see listed by "fight back" in April this year. And of course they start waking him up again, I can only block a few numbers at a time with talktalks block unwanted caller. Dont know what else to do other than change his number and then it will probably start all over again.

Scam outfit, trying the mis-sold ppi trick.
Could not tell me who had provided my telephone number.
Would not transfer me to senior member of staff
Would not give customer service number.

I contacted you a week ago regarding cold-callers (re mis-sold PPI) using telephone numbers traced to Relax Telecom.
Your web site does not disply any direct means of contact, ony a "Contact Us" option which I used.
You did not bother to reply within 5 working days as requested so I can only assume that you condone the practice.
As it is now 5 working days since you ignored my request I re-submitted it to the TPS organisation.

On Call Barring the number with BT it gives the real number that is calling

Recorded message about unclaimed insurance payout

Called by this number - recorded message - woman's voice - claiming that their records showed I had been mis-sold PPI and that they could help make a claim.  Total rubbish.  Hung up.  When I re-dialled the number, got another recorded female voice - 'This number is no longer in service'.

Received another call from this number. Why can't BT do something about it. These people are preying on individuals who may be less aware of these phone scams i.e. the elderly who are more trusting. I don't do any business over the phone anymore as I never really know who I'm talking to. I urge others to do the same.

Today claiming to investigate Financial regulation mis selling
Said Press 5 to claim or 9 to be removed from there database.
I pressed 9 & the line disconnected.

I had few calls from this number abd when I answered there was no respond ... ??

Just received a call from this number - didn't listen to much of the message but it mentioned an insurance claim.  I'm ex-directory and have been registered with the TPS for a long time so this sort of thing makes me very angry.  My 89-year old mother lives with me and I worry about these sort of calls coming while I am out.
