Is this  genuine? Having filed in a comment about nuisance calls I had a call from thisd number this afternoon with the promise that they would eliminate many calls - for a fee.

Yes, Network Registrations is a genuine SCAM outfit charging you for what the TPS do for free. Whom did you file your nuisance calls complaint with? Do you have an e-mail or www address?

They make exaggerated claims about the effectiveness of their service and may even suggest that TPS does not work.

TPS is the only official Opt Out service that companies are required to abide by under the UK law and that is regulated by Ofcom and enforced by the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).

a call i did not make cost me 0.22p------why????

I filled in a form online which was attached to one of these sites where I checked to see who had called.   I have been receiving loads of calls about PPI and wanted to get them stopped.
The site called back - on my landline - and left a message and a number to call.   I called and left a message and they called me back on Monday.   As I was home I took the call and a Welsh lady called Debbie said she had checked my line and that I was getting alot of calls from SE Asia.   She said TPS could only stop calls in the UK and they could stop them from all callers - but not family who are overseas anyway!   This would be for a one off fee.   I said I would look at the paperwork which I'd asked her to send and then speak to the police.   At this point she ended the call pretty quickly.

did they only take the money for the fee and was your account ok after no more money was taken?

I selected a TPS on our phone and filled in an online form.  Done.  No, wrong they called the house phone left a message "please call back" 08435 236997.  Called back on hold for 5 minutes. hung up. They called back immediately! ? Handed over debit card details for a one off life time guarantee £35.00. Used a card which is only use online so only put the write amount of money in.  They called back "can i check your card details?" me. "Why?" cant get payment to go through.  me "you must be trying to take more money then you said!" they hung up!!!!!   Then check the number   SCAM SCAM SCAM. be warned I will send this number to everyone on FB and Tweet so no one else gets screwed over by these scum bags.  Fortunately I cancelled my card asap and they closed at 6pm so could not represent the payment!

the first call I had was from a mobile, that made out she was from TPS, (bit suss to start with TPS calling from a mobile) and went through all the advantages of having it, then went on to ask for payment, which I said I thought it was free, she said "oh no you have clicked the premium offer" I scratched my head and thought maybe when I registered with TPS I had, but then I was sure that TPS was free, I told her I didn't have a card on me, and she gave me the 0843 number. which I later googled when i got to work, and found this information, she called me back today, and I said, I thought you was from TPS" she said she never said that, well I then told her I had recorded the last call, and had replayed it a few times to check what she had said (Sasha by the by) and that she had miss informed me, I told her I was passing on the mobile she called me from 07984421454 and the 08435236997, to trading standards she hung up, funny that.

Did the same as Jude - ie mistakenly completed a form on line (but no bank details etc) and then found might be signing up for something - sent urgent email to them saying it was an error; today got call on mobile from this number and googled to find this forum.
Not going to respond by phone.....

I was rung this morning by NCR  on tel num:01554776465. Was offered a stopping of all nuisance calls within 28days for a cost of £42.62. I went ahead with this because of all the foreign calls we were getting.
On checking up on NCR after the call was finished,i found out about how this company operates.I can see now i will get nothing for my £42.

Under the Distance Selling Regulations you are entitled to cancel within 7 days and get your money back. Check with your ban k or Credit Card company (depending on how you paid) and see if the money has already gone.  If it hasn't then ask them to block it.  If you want to block calls yourself there is a BT6500 'phone which you can set to block International, Withheld, and Unavailable numbers, plus 10 individual numbers.  I have had one for about four month's now and the difference is amazing. The 'phone does not even ring when a blocked number calls and they cannot leave a message.  The only way you know you have been called is by seeing the icon on the handset.  You do need Caller Display.  With this 'phone you are in charge and not paying money to a "company" who may, or may not do the job you are paying them for.

Had a call from Helen on this number last Wednesday,said was with a nuisance prevention call company offering me a years subscription for £39, asked her to call back.
Today have had 8 calls from 01554776465 which I never answered each time,but checked on 1471.
Just a few minutes ago the phone rang ,so I picked it up.It was this Helen again asking me if I thought anymore about the offer,I asked her the number she was calling on and had she called me today,she confirmed she had called me once and her number is 08435237997.
I declined her "£39 " offer and she immediately hung up.I then called 1471 and the last number which was her call was 01554776465,what is going on ?
I am registered with TPS and a week or so ago I Had reason to question them,I went on line to them and it seems since then I have been bombarded with nuisance calls,very concerned !!

I, like you feel aggrieved at the number supposedly from Nuisance Call registry in June this year. I received a call from Katie Donovan (08435236997) and agreed to pay £35.52 plus vat for a one-off payment to guarantee no calls on my home line or mobile. I now find that this number and their website has closed down - have I been conned?

You paid your money, you did not get a service and they have now disappeared.  What do you think??
