I had service with sat-lite ltd and now they are responsible for my existing contracts and their cost is also reasonable. and have no issue as they are FSA regulated

Sampora Sky insurance service.  Called 3 times in one morning.  Tried phoning their customer complaints and ended up waiting in a que.  Called the number to take out a policy and got through straight away strangely enough.  Told them not to call again and to make sure my number was removed from their database and informed them that I thought it was unacceptable to be called 3 times in the same morning.

They keep calling and then get the silence and then it hangs up. I am disabled and it is a nightmare having to get up for these silent callers. They phone a few times a week even though I have told them to remove my number from the database.

I get two to three calls a day from this number, and when I pick up, there is never anyone there.

Unsolicited call, rang then just hung up

I wrote to you on Tues.29th August to cancel my TV insurance  ref. no. 150802840 which you got me to join and pay £65 for onSat 28th August.  I am waiting to be reimbursed, please.  So far, no sign of the refund on my First Direct account.
Please make sure that ,by tomorrow evening , I shall find my bank account credited by £65.

These people are scum trying to relieve me of money for nothing.

When I told them they should first ASK me if I wanted extended protection and not just TELL me I'm going to have it as soon as they set up my direct debit.

The caller was "Helping" me apparently.

'Digital Protect' called me claiming we had a free maintenance contract for the past 12 months for our Sky equipment.  Now wanting to charge us £17 per quarter or £64 per year.

I might not have known they were dodgy if we actually HAD Sky kit.

She couldn't answer my questions about the previous year's arrangements so she eventually hung up.  Chancers!

Had a call from these people saying they wanted to insure my sky satellite system as the warranty
had expired. Firstly, the warranty expired 10 years ago and it still works fine (panasonic box).
Secondly, if the box stopped working I'd buy one off of ebay for £10, or from a car boot sale for £5 !
I think they just ring every number in the phone book looking for Sky satellite box owners.
If your box stops working, it may be obvious that the box has gone wrong as you dont get the usual coloured lights showing up on the front of it. If it is not obvious wether the problem is the box or the dish you could ask a friend with sky if you can plug your sky box into their dish for a couple of minutes - this will either give you a picture on say BBC1 or not - and this will show if the problem is
with your box or with your dish( or cable to your dish).

I have over the last month had numerous calls from this number and yesterday found out who it was and sent a complaint report to TPS. As they will not have got this yet I get another call this morning so rang number back and asked for the name of the company who sold my number to them and was told by the young lady that it was the OFFICIAL DATA  MINING  COMPANY ???? Has anyone heard of these people???

******SCAM!!!!! Please don't give these people any money!! Read the other posts!! They reported to be from Sky and said my box is no longer under warranty. Tried to scare me by claiming I would have to pay £200 if it broke down for a new one!!! Ive had the box three years and never had a warranty. Not actually from Sky, he called asking for the "bill holder" he didn't know my name, Stupid chancers. I told him outright he was a fraudster and hung up.

We're trying to get an action group together and there are instructions for what to do if you get caught by this awful company and their Debt Collectors, (believe me they will contact you within the next few months whether you think you've cancelled or not).
Please join in and support us, we've gone to our MPs, Action Fraud etc, and need as many ppl as possible to complain and report so we can get something decisive done about them.

This company steal from the old and disabled in our society and someone should step in and put a stop to it.  Imagine the sixty five pounds they have taken from bank accounts by being supposedly as genuine when in fact they loom on people who are just taken in by their cold canvassing. They inform people their sky contract has expired and as most of these are housebound they get very anxious and believe these people who have no conscious is doing them a favour.  They do not give refunds and I think trading standards and sky should warn the public not to be taken  in by them.
