This is a warning to everyone who has had or may have dealings with secure telephone service ltd, Rope house, littlehamton.
This companie lies to trick customers into believing they are signing up for there details to be removed from data lists, saying they appear on countless lists, which they do not have that info and can't have that info. All they will do is say they charge £1.74 a month for 3 years which again is a lie when actually it's £2.08 a month, they then get you to agree and give your bank details over and only once they have got your bank details do they tell you it's £74.99 (a total scam) all they will actually do is charge you £74.99 for the call and usually to very old people and send out a call blocker on loan for 3-3 and a half years, and if you cancel they will charge you further to get out of the pretend contract after 14 day cooling off period, and after the 3 year period has passed which they haven't been running for that long will also charge you about £34.99 if you don't return the call blocker, see terms and conditions on their website. No where on there website says the lying service that they tell to all customers, anyone who agrees should contact trading standards and get this lot shut down, I only worked for them for a week and I didn't and couldn't sell anything as I refused to rip people off.

A guy called Trevor called me ,asking me if I wonted to buy a system to stop cold calling, for £ 74.94 , l told him I'd get back him?.Then I checked the phone number on the web, As I thought it's a scam

Bunch of chancers.  Cold calling me so that i can stop cold callers.  What a bunch of total and utter cowboys!

I hope they all rot.

Yet again, TPS fails.  When are they going to get some proper teeth and actually use them?

They've just been shut down! :)

They've called me twice in the last couple of days asking about cold calling - told them that they are doing exactly that and I hung up.

Not shut down, I had a call only two days ago; but at least they were polite and actually spoke rather than being silent. Told them I worked in IT and couldn't possibly see how they could remove me from the databases used by the foreign callers.

I had a phone call from a very nice man.  He asked if I was receiving cold calls.  I said no - just from your company.
I said the best way to stop calls from your company was for you to stop calling me!
This is not a scam, but they shouldnt be calling TPS number to get business.

I was telephoned at 19.27 last evening.a man wanted to stop nuisence calls.when I said that BT could do that for free-he said they couldn't(lie),he the hung-up when I mentioned cold calling. I then rang back the number,it said it was out of office hours.A lady then rang at 19.42.I said that as I lived alone,I didn't need cold calling.I said I had moved-she wanted my new postcode-which I didn't give her.This is a disgrace,

Two DDMs of £39.99 taken from terminally ill elderly person for what? All he had was a poorly written letter from this company, no special equipment, and the nuisance calls were still happening! Thankfully The bank has taken matters in hand and reimbursed the money.

If anybody got common sense don't buy nothing from home guard or secure telephone service they are nothing but rip off company's.

23 / 4 / 2015 , been with this so called company since 03 / 10 / 2014 , still getting regular junk phone calls usually 5 or 6 virtually every day  I paid them by debit card £15 every 3 months which I have now cancelled , I am convinced that these people are scammers , since registering I have heard nothing from them  ,now because they cant get payments from  my account , WHICH I TOLD MY BANKERS NOT TO MAKE TO THEM,. they are writing to me , they have  changed their company name from homeguard direct .com . to secure telephone services ltd , without any notification to clients ,  they are now trying to charge me £29 administration charge to cancel the agreement BE VERY CAREFULL IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THESE SCAMMERS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND THEN YOU WONT HEAR FROM THEM I have refused to pay them any money

Ask your bank for a chargeback! Say to them that they have not provided a service and also report them to trading standards, most of these companies have been closed down now. Homeguard is still around, they are a cross the road and they also partly own secure telephone service ltd with Lauren Todd. Hope this helps.

They are separate companies but the owner of Homeguard knows Lauren Todd really well and helped her set up secure telephone service ltd, and also are in directorship with her, she gets most of her useless data from Homeguard and regularly pops in to see them.

Got 08448870608 after dialling 1471. A gentleman calling himself Andrew Donovan told me he was ringing on behalf of  Secure Telephone Service Ltd, Suite 1, Rope House, Rope Walk, Littlehampton, W. Sussex. BN17 5DH. He said that the telephone number of the company was 0330 010 1608. He sounded quite educated and tried to sell me a 'call blocker'.
Information he gave me was not accurate. Wanted my credit card number. Told him to send me the paperwork and I would ring him to go ahead. Still needed my credit card number over the phone. I don't do this. Goodbye Mr Donovan as you didn't give me chance to bid farewell.  Rumbled???
