They claimed to be from confused.com wanting to give me an insurance quote.

Received a call at 3.12 from this number - rang a few times when I answered calls they hung up. Googled the number and I seen a list of complaints agains it.

Calls regularly, always hangs up when I answer. If I'm out no message is left. Have also had this one call my mobile. NUISANCE!

RANG ME 2 MINUTES AGO. RINGING STOPPED, DIALED 1471, GOT THE NUMBER AND LOODED UP "SAY NO TO 0870". HENCE ARRIVING AT THIS SITE.

I am getting two calls a day from this number. Phone rings twice then stops. Very annoying.

Just like some others, the mobile rang and they hung up as soon as I answered.

Had 3 calls (so far) within last 10 minutes from this number but when I answer I just get a dial tone. My home insurance is due next week!

Called twice yesterday and again today, picked up phone and no-one answered although it sounded as if someone was still on the line. ****** nuisance

had 26 calls in the last week. you'd think they'd realise they're not going to get anywhere with me. i'm tps registered too.

The company is Insure 4 Retirement, apparently they've been saving customers data from quotes they have ran on price comparison sites. I've been told that the details are sent to all the listed companies in order to obtain a quote (seems logical) however, even though I didn't express an interest in their product by clicking through to their site they have kept the details and are now (12 months later) contacting me as they know my insurance is up for renewal.

Isn't this illegal? I've contacted watchdog.

they called but didin't leave a message as I dialled 1471 I got their number and it was 08450451530 they are (insured for retirement)company, and when I called them back it was the automated system gave me this free number to call and even remove my number from their data base. the number is 08002988707. Even though I'm registered with telephone preferences services (TPS) which I sent endlessly wrote to them about these ad companies but the best they can do is just an automated print out they send me telling me they do thier best to stop them but they, I think giving my details to them, fail to stop these ads. I think they all are rubbish.
