This is a company called The Business Consultants Ltd. From what I can gather they are brokers wanting to broker the sale of your company. I'm not considering selling in any case, but the guy I spoke to was a complete div and I wouldn't trust him to sell water to someone who was on fire.

There is plenty on the internet about the scam this firm employ.

They charge you an up front fee to market your business and then dont actually do anything apart possibly from listing it on their web site.

So many business owners are desperate to sell they fall for it.

Search for yourself.

i have just rang 3 times and they sound miffed that the phone is dead. lol. Everybody do this 3 times

get the same - i just hang up when i see the number/after hearing the initial intro,  but the persistence then seems to get worse.
As soon as they say 'can i speak to the owner of the business' I know it is unsolicited -
very annoying - they have called 2 times yesterday and 3 times today. Its dreadful

this number calls at least 7 times a week how do i stop it i am tps regestered

Our company is also receiving these calls 3-5 times each day. Despite calling the 0800 number I can not get through to them as the lines eventually cuts off. Any more suggestions as this is really annoying!

I have just received a call from the above number, once I had said who I was they just put the phone down without saying anything at all!! Very ignorant.

they are a nuisance do not let them put your business on the market read what others have to say

Caller keeps hanging up when I answer the telephone

I get calls from these scroats 2 or 3 times a week.

I have asked/told/sworn at them to get my number taken off their list many many times.

Will try the 0800 number and see what happens - if they still phone it will cause an escalation.

I wonder who can sort them out?  Police, TPS ???? Does anyone know who to contact to stop them?

go to rta complaints what a load of problems for them just do what i did made an appointment to sell my business and cancelled the day they were surposed to come or do what my mate did allow them to come and tell them you are to busy  they waste our time so lets waste their time lets all work together

They keep ringing me but i keep missing the call . My mate has givne me a great tip for junk mail with prepaid enverlopes stread the info they send criss cross is better and put it back in the prepaid enverlope and post back to them if you have any spare hole punchs put them in too its make me smile to think of them cleaning my mess up

Phone the 0800 number it costs you nothing, costs them money and bugs them no end!!!

This number keeps calling me and every time I ask who they are they give me a different business description!  Been 'scammed' recently so I ask all the questions now, not the other way around!
Have no intention of EVER doing business over the phone again, there are so many scams out there.
It's a shame for the genuine callers but not worth the risk.  Trading Standards very helpful if you do get caught though, so do not hesitate to go to them for advice!

hey, this number rang, i waited to pick up as i expected a colleague to do it, but he didnt so i did and the [***] hung up on me.

Said they were called Business Consultants.  Wanted to speak to the owner.  I told them that I never talk to cold callers!  Hung up.  Pests and obviously a scam.
