    This one will be recorded on my telephone as "Nuisance 34". That is two new pests for the last hour now.

    I am really fed up to the teeth with all these nuisance calls that are given new numbers by telephone providers all the time. Our communication systems do need new regulations that will prevent these [***] from operating.

    They keep calling between 6 and 7 pm. The most inconveniet time going but a time they know people tend be home. Have caller display so no longer bother picking up

    Called today. Grant Officer for the government, he said. Told him my name and address were wrong and asked where they got my number from (I am TPS).  I also said I would check with the local authority but he said they weren't involved.  Reported to local authority who referred me to Consumer Direct.  They referred me to Action Fraud 0300 123 2040  who took details and referred me to this site.

    I just a call from Matthew on this number. He asked me if I had loft & cavity wall insulation. I challenged him & asked him if he was from a private company. He stated that he was from the ''Local Government Nationwide Energy ?????''. He also stated that they were fully authorised by the government to phone householders.

    Said they were from home insulation grants, intimated they were linked to the Government in some way.  I told them I was with TPS, but I seem to be getting more of this type of call than when I was not registered.

    08451113111 Nationwide Energy Services have just called me today saying I hadn't taken up my free government grant:  when I said we had a loft conversion, didn't need their insulation and this was the 2nd time I'd told them that and that I was registered with TPS and they should not be calling, he hung up on me. So I've just reported them to TPS and encourage others to do the same to get rid of these nuisance calls.

    I have not been rang by any of these phone numbers, but i would like to ask, do they ring any random person, or are you signed up to a website etc. that they ring you?

    Have had calls from thius number on quite a few occassions - latest at approx 1600hrs today. Still get these rubbish calls despite having registered with TPS. These people are obviously dialling random numbers.

    Had about a dozen calls from this number over the last 3 weeks, with 3 calls this morning.  They rabbit on about government grants in an Asian accent. We've had all the grants that are available. I tell them this but to no avail; they still ring back repeatedly.  I tell them that we are registered with TPS, but they ignore that too.  They are a right pain the butt.

    At least one "real" number that hides behind this seems to be 01792 518200. Some company called National Energy Services or something like that.

    Had a call off this number saying that they are savememymoney.co.uk or something like that stating that they are a company who can claim back overcharges for my water rates for the past 3 years.  I initially listened to what they had to say a couple of months ago until they asked me for a payment of £30 to cover their legal fees to claim this money back for me at which point I said that I was fine and would look into it myself.

    I had another call today from them to inquire about my progress and when i told the person that I wasn't interested as her colleague had asked for a payment of £30, she was very abrupt saying 'So you don't mind being overcharged for your water rates then?' in a very patronizing tone.  My response ensured that she got off the line.....'Oh yes, but I love paying more for my water, because it tastes so nice!'

    I had a call from this firm this evening to my TPS'd number too. They left no message on my answerphone so I came on here to look up their number. I must comment though that I am astounded at the amount of people who are rude about getting a phone call from anyone first. Why publish that you gave someone likely trying to earn a living to a right mouthful? It's not the people actually making the calls, it's the people who own the company who aren't having the numbers TPS screened - so please find some manners people. Treat the people who ring you properly and politely. Tell them that you are TPS'd and would like them to remove your details from their calling lists else you will complain: It has to be said that I'd rather receive an unsolicited phone call from somone trying to earn a living than watch them vandalise, steal or burn someone else's property (recent riots) - so let's tone it down, eh? There is no need to be so bloody offensive as a first resort - it's unedifying and shames you and your parents. Two wrongs do not make a right!

    Whilst I understand your frustration to a degree, I can't understand the mentality that wants to stop people from earning a living and paying income tax. Why not bite your tongue and be polite and just ask them not to call you again? What is it with having to refer to people as [***] needing to be stopped? I would much rather know that these people are trying to earn a living legitimately that thieving / mugging / stealing / burning / vandalising. And remember that it is not the people who make the calls - it's the management who are not having the calls screened.

    And I need to clarify that I don't work for this firm and up until this evening (specifically reading on here), I had never heard of them. I just think that some posters need to get a sense of proportion and also find some manners. Two wrongs don't make a right, do they?
