    we've told them to take us off their list.

    I am registered with TPS but get these calls everyday. I wish I could find out who this company is. I have them programmed into my phone and just immediately hang up on them.

    Just had a call from this number saying that I had a pending energy grant for cavity and loft insulation - name Smeeta I think - when she asked about my insulation and I said it was none of her business she said I was rude, got very angry, said there was no need to be rude and that I could be fined, and when I said I was on the TPS she put the phone down. I could do without it. I filled in the form on the TPS website for complaints.

    Numerous calls daily, at various times into the early evening. No reply when answered bust most calls only ring once,just enough for me to gat up from the settee to answer. So annoying.WHO IS THIS COMPANY ???  If it is a firm canvassing for Government Insulation Grants, they would know my house age/type would not qualify and then that I also need to be on benefits, which I am not.

    The only way to get TPS to stop calls completely is to pay them otherwise you only get a limited service at best. The company calling is just a sales team trying to get buisness through useing readily available marketing information which they purchase or get from web based companie
    Shout Swear do what you want but it is a computer that dials your numbers from a stored data base.
    These data bases are what they use to make money and are worth a small fortune.
    Best way to stop it completely is to contact your line supplier and block all sales calls but you will find that there is a cost.

    This company is Nationwide Energy Services. Based in swansea, in South Wales. Their website is www.nesuk.com and free phone number 0800 633 5769

    They have a few numbers associated with them with "who calls me" but I can only assume this has something to do with the size of the business. Phone lines such as BT who supply to big orgasinations who use phones to contact customers, dont allow a certain amount of people to use one phone line at the same time. This would explain why this number has only been represented in the past couple of months it seems and why no body can work out who they are. It seems the company has under gone expansion and therefore needed a new line.

    Anyway, they are working in assocation with the insulation association society (which can be researched on google). NES let home owners know of goverment grants for loft and cavity wall insulation under a government scheme called the CERT scheme. You are under no obligation to accept this grant, but it is something you have paid for in your taxes.

    My husband is a surveyor for the Marks group who work with NES. NES are the first point of contact between customers and their insulations grants, they do the paperwork etc but first have to ADVICE you on your entitlement... obviosuly via the phone. AFTER THIS, the marks group, miller and patison, dyson and domestic and general take over, do the surveying, and the work - NES then process the grant application, and you get the work done for free (over 70 or on benefits) or 75% off if you are A HOME OWNER REGARDLESS OF BENEFITS! NES are the good guys, who are making sure you get your entitlement... without their calls, you might not even know of this entitlement. Insulation companies dont advertise these grants freely. But the big companies lik British Gas, Eon etc do - but charge you more! upwards of 200 quid for loft insulation, (for profit) whereas the full grant is only 149 subject to survy and size fo house. still this is 50 quid off what you'd pay by using a profitable business taking admin charges... NES dont take any admin charges!

    I get sales calls alot, and yet, because my husband is one of the surveyors who works WITH this company but not FOR them, I can understand how people would get annoyed. But at the end of the day, alot of peopel arent insulated properlly (you can tell if snow on your roof melts, if it does heat is escaping.. wheras ones with snow on their roofs are insulated properlly! thats why the governemnt have bought out this new scheme (again, the CERT scheme, carbon emmisions reduction target). Its worth listening to the call. By 2012, all homes have to be insulated to the proper standard (if loft insulation is under 4" can have it topped up to 10.5" saving yourself money on heating bills, keep you warmer, and save the environment!). The gov inicitive is to help save the environment first, but also help you save money as well, up to a 3rd!

    Well - its worth a listen to the call. From what I know from my husband, the call centre book a free no obligation survy for the surveyor to go round and measure it for you, check their is no debris in the cavity (if u want cavity wall insulation... grant avliable for this too!) and well, i cant see anything wrong with what they do in the slightest.

    They must be desperate for work as they have now phoned me 6 times in 10  mins,
    they will have to get their auto dialer sorted as ofcom have just upper the amount of fine from 25k to 2mill for repeated silent calls
    A spokes man on Tv the other morning said you should only get 1 silent call a day and that auto dialers can now be set to recognise a live line from a answer phone
    I think a complaint to Ofcom may be in order

    Got a call from this number this week and cannot get a reply when dialling them back.  The company sounded like Sisco but have no idea who that is either.  As I have TPS I do not understand why I get these calls they are so irrating.

    Thanks for the info but you are missing the point of this website, we want to know who is calling us, we want to be able block and stop unwanted sales calls, we want companies to check to see if we want calls before phoning us up and disturbing us in the only place in the world that we can have some peace and quiet.

    A company that is clearly annoying people by calling multiple times, or repeatedly calling after they have already been told no thank you i have 2ft of loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and triple glazing on every window are not doing themselves or the insulation association society any favours.  If they have multiple numbers listed here, then its because they are annoying alot of people, not because they are doing their job properly!

    In Wales organisations such as WarmerWales have spent months walking the streets calling door to door to encourage people to have grant aided cavity wall insulation and loft insulation put in, but we would still complain if they repeatedly phoned us to ask us the same question again and again.
    I don't care if the primeminister phones me, i'm still going to ask how he got my number without my permission, and i will still be annoyed if he rings back and asks the same question again.

    If Ofcom had any teeth, then we wouldn't need websites like this.  Do us all a favour Nationwide Energy Services, shut down and get real jobs.

    My husband got a call from this number today and they asked for me by name, he informed them not home til 6pm and then they asked him "do you know the capital of France?" He said "yes" and put the phone down.  What the hell is that about????
