Keep getting calls from this number - have never answered any of them thanks to this website.  Wish they would do one, don't they get the message. And as for the TPS - about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

NES got their accounts in a few days ago - but yes 8 months late. Says a lot about them.

Anyway, they keep phoning despite me saying I am NOT interested as I've insulated everything way above the recommended levels anyway and am as snug as a bug in a sweaty call centre. At my wits end with these clowns so may do as someone else suggested and contact the ICO about failure to remove my contact data.

got a call from this number at 9pm. when i said it is rather late they said f off and hung up!

Just called, did not answer it as 0845 number showed up.Got straight on here to check it out.  I have now barred it from ringing when they call again.  Highly recommend a phone with both caller display and call barring facility. You dont have to be bothered with the phone ringing again from these people.

Just received another call from Energy Grant Adviser. I am sure that it is the second time within the last week that this person has telephoned, as he introduces himself as 'Michael'.  As I am registered with TPS, I don't appreciate these nuisance calls. Today I decided to 'go along' with his enquiry.  I attempted to clarify where he was telephoning from.  He persisted in ignoring my enquiry ! He did enquire whether I was STUPID and then abruptly terminated his call.

Just had a call offering me afree £3000 central heating boiler curtesy of some new government grant. Bloke soon put the phone down when I said that I don't believe the ConDem government gives anything away to Plebs in this country.

It went to answerphone - expecting more calls now that they know the line is live!!

Just had a call from this no. asking for someone we don't know and quoting a different address. I asked to be taken off their call list which he agreed to do but then started asking if we'd recieved our gov. grant. I put the phone down.

These guys have been ringing on and off for months. I also have TPS but they try to dodge that by suggesting it doesn't apply to them as they are not selling anything.....today I was told (ergain) that I was entitled to cavity wall insulation, roof insulation and a new boiler. I told them that they were mistaken as my house is listed- they told me that that made no difference......I read them the listing guidelines for grade one listed houses (which my house isnt by the way but was testing thier knwoledge) and they promptly put the phone down. Just no credibility at all and real pests.

When challenged about TPS he asked how long ago I had registered (10 years) and he said did I realise that you have to re-register every 3 months! (usually they say 6 months or a year). I said that was an absolute lie as it was permanent, he said I think you will find you are wrong. I said let me quote an email from TPS - he rang off!

Just had a call from this number this evening.  When I answered there was nobody there so I guessed it was another nuisence call.

However, my neighbour told me that there ARE (or have been - it may depend on where you live) government grants available for insulation, more efficient central heating etc.  Seems it is to do with reducing one's "carbon footprint".  The government would buy into something like that, if only to be seen to be politically correct.

But of course these people touting for business with nuisence calls only care that you choose THEM from the many available.  I've had similar calls in the past (I think about loft insulation) and they cleverly give the impression that they are the ONLY ones who are employed, or recommended, by the Government to do this work.

I just looked at the Citizen's Advice Bureau website and they had a link to the Energy Saving Trust, that give advice on things like this. http://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/ You can also get a list of local recommended installers.
NO WAY would I accept advice from cold callers of the 08451113111 ilk, let alone employ them to do anything to my home!

See my message of Feb 1st.  There ARE government grant schemes, but these people who ring are no doubt just trying to cash in and persuade you to use THEIR company.  For that reason alone, even if they turned out to be genuine, I wouldn't employ them.

Pleasant sounding lady with Welsh accent rang on behalf of nesuk.com.  Re Government Grant scheme for replacement boilers that sounds genuine.  Did not apply to ourselves however.  I became suspicious when the caller asked if it was OK for someone from Scottish Energy to ring me.  I said no as the call was obviously to let Scottish Power have the opportunity to sell their products.

when you answer the phone and tell them you are already insulated and you don't need them, and then you are still bombarded with at least 12 calls a day then I think something needs to be done. I have now told them that I will be reporting them to the ombudsman for hounding me. They ring on a few different numbers.

Just received a call from this number but when I answered the caller hung up. There is no reason whatsoever that I'm aware of as to why this company/organisation should be calling me.
