I have asked this firm several times to stop ringing me and I am even on the list tps list.
Very annoying

Just got called and like many others had loads of call centre noise and then they hung up.  I dialled them back and it is The Times - left a message along the lines that they are breaking the law as I'm registered on the TPS and if they call me back I will report them to ofcom.

By the time I answered they rang off.
Must be a sales call.
This number showed on my mobile so I guessed it a bit strange.

called to speak to my wife-had a foreign voice- wouldn't leave message and said would call back later

i got cold calld just now and typed in the number to find this forum. anyway, just called the number for subscriptions for Times and pressed option 2 and didn't say a word as the chap repeated himself 4 times, but to no avail as i didn't say a word. so fed up of their calls to me and i wanted to alleviate the stress!!!

Just had another call from this number - this time a female voice said
that she was calling from the Sunday Times.  I interrupted her and asked why she was phoning me as I'm registered with TPS and I would make a formal complaint about her call.
I have made a complaint about them to the TPS.

I have had a misscall the other week from this number, and a call today, as described by other I have heard only background noises and they have hang up.

This number keeps calling us probably 4 times a day.  We only pick calls when we know the caller so it's getting very annoying.

First call of the year from this number, asnwered, no one there!

Just had a call; rung twice and hung up.  I'm going to try and report them.

Had a voicemail on my WORK NUMBER from this number yesterday. No-one spoke and they hung up after a few seconds. I suppose they only speak when someone answers
I hope it was just a random call 'cause I don't want to be bothered at work (or at home for that matter) by these cold callers. Spead the word!

Tip: Sometimes these companies dial numbers automatically and only when someone picks up and speaks do they connect you to someone. The trick when you see an unknown number on caller display is to pick up, but not say anything. If it's a real person they'll break the silence, and no harm done.

Seem to be getting somewhat bombarded with calls from this company, unimpressed. Registering with the TPS seems to have no effect!

Hung up as soon as I answered the phone, rang number back said it was The Times.

Been getting almost daily calls from this number for a month (sometimes several a day). They either hang up or there is just background noise - even had background noise left as a voicemail!
Report them to ofcom - they don't investigate individual compliants, but if enough are received, they will.

Why exaggerate, lie, make-up or talk garbage about the "illegality" of this number calling? Now you know who it is and what it might be about, simply ignore it. Musicman - you're a [***], Martin - you're a muppet, KMH - why exaggerate? Cuckoo.

These sort of automated dialers simply DON'T "call several times a day" - this sort of baloney is for people begging for anyone to call as they have no friends.

I just got a call on my mobile from this number 08452863025. I am ex-directory and TPS registered so have nothing to do with Times. So I wonder how on earth they got my number from???? I have so many marketing calls and this is so annoying when I thought I sorted and blacklisted the land line and now my mobile is in danger of cold calling from people that I do not have any association with. Please God help make this stop. Below are also all the nuisiance calls I have recieved. So in letting the more people know about this unwanted calls and making others aware here it is so we know how to tangle them when your number displays show up so in helping you to decide whether to pick these calls up.
