2nd call within a week.

They called 'cold-called' my landline yesterday - the line is ex-directory and listed with TPS - ostensibly a call centre operating on behalf of The Times trying to sell a discounted weekly subscription; in addition to my number they also had my name and address - worrying; more worrying I was asked to give my bank details over the phone - when I refused, they tried to persuade me that my bank details, and my credit card details, are not "sensitive information" (with gems such as 'bank account details are on cheques so, err, it's ok'; 'the internet is far less secure' and - my favourite - 'how do you live not giving out financial details over the phone' - answer: perfectly well thanks). Afterwards I remembered receiving a similar call on my mobile (also listed with TPS) several months ago, but that time cut the caller off pre-pitch. I've reported the call to TPS and ActionFraud.

Small number of rings just keep getting these and if it is the Sunday Times they called yesterday and I said that I wasn't interested.

Have been receiving calls from 08452863025 every day for what seems like weeks.

We have caller ID so I now check every caller and no longer answer this one.

We've registered with BT to supposedly stop unwanted calls. How come they still call??

I am continually called by the number 0044 8452863025 on my mobile. They ring once and then hang up. Most annoying.

Called at 11:003am, and only heard very loud alarm sound ringing, nobody spoke.

had two calls from this number last week, Sunday Times, I wouldn't mind but i had to seriously threaten "The Times" call centre a couple of months back and they assured me that they had deleted my number, so now we will go to Ofcom as an official complaint. They had their chance and they have overstepped the mark now.

Keep getting 08452863025 calls and a 'dead line' with nobody talking to me...most concerning...are they seeing if i'm in before they decide to rob me???

The call led to a "the number you have dialed has not been recognized" message being left on my answering machine. As Peter Grant said, they seem to have automation issues with their software.

I've been called by them, repeatedly even after telling them to remove me. The times when I have answered I have just had silence and can here noise in the back ground. It's really annoying now.
Will be reporting them as they don't seem to listen.

0845 286 3025 is the marketing arm of The Times newspaper.

Just got a call today from them, from a call centre. The operator sounded confused and said "Sorry, I think i've got the wrong number".  

Idiots.

Recorded telemarketing call.  Repeated calls over the course of a week.

Just been left a message by this number consisting of a man going 'la la la la la la'. If it is a marketing technique it's not a very convincing one!

I was called on my last mobile number a lot by 0845 286 3025 I changed number and still constantly receive calls I don't bother to answer them anymore as the 1st few times that I did it just went dead but it's soo irritating!

This is  The Times newspaper I get calls from them for a few days every few months I consitantly tell them I do not read the paper and never have done so and to take me of their mailing list but they NEVER do I expect a few more in the next few days then they will get fed up and move on to someone else. Then in a few months the same procedure will be repeated,  idiots!

Do these companies(this time The Times) not realise they cause more alienation of their product by these annoying sales calls.

In addition I work night shift and being woken continually by these callers, INTERNATIONAL, and of course UNAVAILABLE numbers just pile on the daily misery of the BT network.

I wish one could do away with BT

I get two calls daily from this number for the last four weeks. Usually nobody there or hangs up on answer. Today I got someone, it was the Times. I'm on TPS and never had any dealings with them, and I'm pretty good at using false details if I sign up for anything. How they got my number and used it when it is on TPS I don't know.
