I have been receiving these calls for a number of times in one day. wish this would stop!

Got a call from this number i left it to go to voicemail but they left no message?
Anybody know where they get the numbers from?

Sick to death of this caller umpteen times a day - I'm just hoping all the calls they make to my mobile are costing them a bomb!  Still, if it's the Times, they probably know more about my phone than I do!!

Keep getting this and on ansaphone lots of background office noise. Bearing in mind am ex directory and also TPS service registered so they should not therefore be ringing me.

Its the Times Newspaper promotional service.

Trying to sell you electronic versions etc

Just got a call from these guys. Supposedly I'm a reader of The Times and they could give me a promotional offer for the online version.

No thanks. Trying to remember whether I have submitted any of my details to The Times or the evil parent company. Must rectify pretty sharpish.

The Times / Sunday Times trying to sell me a subscription

(UK) You were dead right - these calls are originating from a call centre that services not only Times subscriptions, but also magazine subs. I called the 0800 number and was passed to an automated system for removal (The receptionist had an American accent). I dont understand why they asked for my PO code, as I was wary (weary) of getting junk mail, so I just gave them my phone number.... Lets hope this works and this annoyance stops. Thanks for the 0800 number :)

I've had a three calls from 0845 286 3025 in last two weeks of November 2011, after a break since August 2011 when i asked for my details be removed from the database.  I let the first and third go to voicemail (no message was left) but decided to answer the second call.

The angry woman on the other end started a verbal assault asking 'what was the problem?' and 'what was I going to do about it?' !  Lots of call centre noise in background too. Very strange - all i said was 'hi'!

Have checked I haven't been hit with a revrese charge type scam, so am now looking forward to giving a bit of abuse back the next time I have the pleasure of their attention :)

Thanks. I have been getting calls every day. I have complained to The Times, DXI EASYCALL, OFCOM and TPS using the info you kindly provided here. Fingers crossed!

Success! Having made a complaint to OFCOM, DXI EASYCALL, The Times and TPS, I got a call from a chap called Nigel Harris from a company called "Call Scripter" which develops and runs their auto-dial software. You can reach him on 07920230907. :)

Had a missed call the last couple of days from them.  I entered The Times comp to win an iPad every hour....so hope it's telling me I've won!!!  (Or else :))

I am being called from this damn phone number every day now! Im fuming, please STOP!

I am getting calls from this number every day for nearly 3 weeks now, and when I have answered it there is silence, so I have now advice of another frustrated person, take the number and add it to your contacts but mark the name as 1ignore or similar, so when they call you know it is a telephone marketing company and NOT to answer it. I am reporting them to Oftel and Trading Standard for silent calls. I also going to write to the Times and tell them to remove my number and that I am roprting them for silent telephone calls. Talk Talk and another company recently got hammered with a large fine because of silent calls, so if we all complain then the Times might get hammered too...

MIssed a call from this number, checked my answer phone and have 3 minutes of nothing but call centre background noise. Thanks to others for identifying who this is.

Call to my mobile today - I'm old so I never give this number to anyone other than family.No reply when I answered.  This is the second call I have received from this number - the first one did identify themselves as from The Times newspaper offering some ludicrously cheap subscription.

I keep getting calls from this number on both my mobile and landline and so far there has been no-one there,it's soooo annoying and I refuse to call it back!
