It was a message service informing me that it was time I booked a routine dental appointment. This is a service my dentist obviously uses, so it's not all bad because I had forgotten.

This number phoned me at 1 am but i didnt pick up then it called again at 7 am. Picked it up and it was a text message from someone i didnt know. It tells you to press 1 and i di. Hope i dont get charged a fortune for it!

called my landline today at 21:55.  Madness!

call at 1.03am woke my daughter, not happy!!

It's ok. Don't panic. It's a text message service to landline phones. My stupid mate always sends texts to my landline number instead of my mobile :-( That's all this is and the service will keep calling until you pick up the text.

just had a call from this number, it is a text message service and i was from my daughter who had used the service. it may well be someone you know trying to contact you x its not a scam.

I DON'T ACCEPT TEXT MESSAGES

This number just rang me at 01.37am, anybody who know me never want to receive message this way, especially woke you up in your sleep, really pssss you off. Does any one out there know how to stop this for good?

This number woke me up at about 9:30am. After it tried to ring me for the 3rd time I punched the number into google.

I can confirm, as many others have done it is safe to call it, or answer a call from it.

It was a text message that my mate obviously sent to my landline by accident last night, and then proceeded to send it to my mobile!

I am glad the call woke me as I didn't want to miss St. George's day!

I did 1471 and came up with this number but when i answered the third time it was my dad who had sent a text message to my landline instead of mobile!

Guys, this is fine, it IS from BT, I think it is their service that providers use. I have received lots of these, and nothing showing on the bill, (received one from my brother just now)

This Number is the sms text service from BT. Its what rings you when someone sends a text to your landline.
I know this for a fact as my mother keeps texting the wrong number from her mobile ( she is meant to text my mobile but keeps texting my landline)
so don't worry about it, answer the call and find out what the text is.

The robot voice that reads the text is funny.

08456021111 called me twice. When i called it was a genuine text message that my technophobe mum had tried to text to my landline!!
BT retrieved it and converted it to voicemail - not a scam at all.

three calls in 30 mins !! Grrrrrrrrrrr who is it ????

just woke me up and no text message.  These people need to be stopped
