We received a call to our house phone with a text (JOKE) message this morning at 6.10am woke both my Husband Son and I, Dont appreciate being called at that time as you always think the worse and could not get back to sleep

i got a phone call from the same number but didnt answer it in time but it left a message on my answer machine saying that i had a text message now at first i thought it was someone scamming so i came on here to try and find out what it was and i have read the comments on here about the same number at first i didnt want to phone it back bu i thought i might aswell so i phoned them back and it is a service from bt and funny enough it was message from sky telling me my internet was activated which i already knew. and i will certainly use the service again.
so when this number rings you answer because it might be somethig really important you never know.

This is the text messaging service from BT telling you that you have a text message to follow. If you ring 0800 5875252 (from memory), you can amend the delivery of text messages to your land line, including time of delivery....

Call received at 07.26 a.m. Christmas Morning, NOT appreciated, I didn't get to pick up the phone as someone hung up before I got to it.

Had 21 calls from this number today, very annoying as it started at 5am and its still doing it :-( Want to rip the phone out at the moment, but need it as i'm waiting for a job reply so these calls don't help :-/

This number has called us a number of times now. On one occasion it left a message giving an automated options menu for sex lines!! We haven't called it back in case it gets diverted to a premium rate number.

son answered phone all he heard was heavy breathing then the line went dead

To all you people moaning about receiving calls at stupid times from this number...IT IS YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY! THIS NUMBER IS THE BT SMS SERVICE, you have a incoming text from your friends on your house phone.

TOTALLY NORMAL - BT MESSAGE SERVICE when a mobile texts a landline. Was a text from my friend.

This number is BT's voice text service, someone has sent a text message to your landline works with virgin media landlines as well, it reads out the mobile number that sent the text so you can figure out who sent it.

It will keep calling you back untill it you listen to the message so that's why some posters have recieved many calls, you have to answer it and listen to your message.

The 08456021111 number called twice yesterday morning at 02:00am and 03:30 not very funny when you ave a father seriously ill in hospital

received a call from this number at 10.10pm its a bt txt service but no messages when i rang it back.

Have received numerous calls from this number half of the night - last call just now at 10.13pm!!!!

08456021111 called at 2am woke me up, didnt answer who in ther right mind phones in the middle of the night, so annoying

Same phone number called again at 9am after phoneing at 2am, the call was from BT messageing service, same message I got from my daughter on my orange mobile WHAT IS THE CONNECTION ?????
