- sue heywoodthe calls is said to be Lloyds TSB but i knew it was not as they they used the wrong name for me.
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- vicJust trying to sell you another account add on that you shouldn't have to pay for...
- atomfingerAutomated call from lloyds fraud prevention unit.
I was , of course , dubious so called them back using the customer services number at the top of my bill.
They'd flagged an attempt at an eight hundred pound transaction which we clearly hadn't made.
They cancelled the card there and then.
It's REALLY worth ten minutes of your time [even if you don't trust the number you should phone your bank!]- Caller: Lloyds F.P.U.
- Joe EasySame story, but I do not have a Lloyds bank account so I was very suspicious. Acting on advice here, I telephoned the bank using a number from Yellow pages and was put through to their fraud department. Yes, it is their number. They said they must have the wrong number and said I would not be troubled again, in fact were very helpful. I forgot to say I have received three call from this number today

- RIf you get called by this number FOLLOW THROUGH on what they ask on the message. DO NOT HANG UP!!!!!! I had a call from them, rang back and as a result have saved over a £1200 being billed to my credit card by some fraudulent scvumbag. Same scumbag got a phone out of Virgin too but that has been sorted too and the police on the trail. Thanks LLoyds TSB - a fantastic service.

- OzzyIt is real Lloyds service. I missed the call from this number, they sent me a text to call +442074819388, system lists four year options and you choose yours (YOB). Then system lists yout last transactions by giving all details, you can confirm them by pressing a key or you can choose to talk a represantative. Easy and secure enough. Last year I didn't call them back because of suspicion, and I faced a real card fraud, fortunately Lloyds helped after fraud as well and I took my money back.

- MarkI too have had calls from this number recently, and am are certain these are genuine from Lloyds TSB. They only ask for year of birth (from a choice of 3) and day/month of birth, as well as confirming that you are phoning from the telephone number they called you on. As they could then list the last few credit card transactions I made, I felt safe enough to confirm - all your asked to do is confirm that these transactions listed were genuinely made by you, nothing else. In fact on one occasion when trying to make an online payment by card, my card was declined, but after calling back and going through the security procedure, my card was valid once again. In an effort to counter especially internet card fraud, I welcome initiatives like this.
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- Jenniethis rang and left an automated message from Lloyds TSB
so rang them back
very glad I did as it was with Lloyds and someone has been using my credit card to buy jewellery, phone top ups etc. Have now had my card frozen and fraud are dealing with it
thank you lloyds- Caller: LLoyds TSB
- MattPlease please please, respond to this call. I just saved £792 in fraudulent transactions on my credit card. This is Lloyds Bank (although my automated message didn't even say it was Lloyds). I rang the number on my credit card after calling this number and they confirmed that it was definitely kosha. Thank you Lloyds for saving me £792! Maybe the auto-message could be made a bit more believable though?
- GillThis number text and called me. I hung up. I don't bank with Lloyds and never have.
- Tom VMissed a call from this number rang them back, its an automated fraud detection service, it reads out some transactions and asks if they are done by you. It was rather useless though as the descriptions of the transactions are of no help, and you cant get through to a real person, apparantly they are "experiencing an unusual volume of calls" - when have we not heard that before ¬_¬. I had to hang up having got no further, waiting for them to ring me back now...

- Roger MundayThis number 0845 6031754 is quite definitely a genuine Lloyds TSB Fraudline check call. The call I received did not in fact identify itself as Lloyds and I have pointed this out to them (0845 6062174) on the phone as it just makes the genuine call look/feel like another scam. They say that they will "look into it"
There is, however absolutely no harm in calling the 6031754 number. In fact if you do nothing it is quite likely that you will find your Card blocked for use until you DO contact them. If you are still suspicious (even this posting COULD be a scam!!!!) then use the contact phone number on the LloydsTSB website (which I will not put here in case you are a suspicious type like me and think that even THAT could be a false direction!) - RickI as many above called the 0845 300 0000 number on the back of my card instead just to verify that this is one of there fraud numbers, and they confirmed it is.
Running through it then, it jsut confirms that you were trying to use your card, was it you.
Call me synical, but i google every number / email address before doing anything like this, as it nearly always pops up if it is a scam number.- Caller: Lloyds TSB Fraud Prevention
- Keith Dtook ages and I was passed from pillar to post-but e ventually I got through to Lloyds TSB who were checking a debit on my card-so do ring back if you get one.
suppose it's a time- i.e cost-saving measure on their part. but wish the ansa phone was a better msg- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- GPgenuine number just saved me a fortune! someone tried to draw cash from my credit card
- Caller: Lloyds tsb
- mesai keep getting called by this number and i'm not even with lloyds??
- pthis turned out to be Lloyds TSB but I called the number on my credit card instead to make sure, they confirmed a security block on my card for an attempted internet purchase. It was a purchase of mine but at least they checked.

- SIDGot the call today, the first name was wrong so i hang up but the auto service did not stop untill it provided the calling number.
0845 6031752. The caller ID was 0845 6031754. - CWHad a silent call from this number, Googled it and found this thread. Called my usual Lloyd's phonebanking number, who checked with the Fraud dept. Apparently someone had been trying to use my credit card online and Apple Computers and Vodaphone had asked for security checks. Card now cancelled and new one on the way. Genuine number, but strange way of going about things.
