They steal your account! Happened to me. :((

I have had 3 calls today from 08456031754.  I rang Lloyds TSB after reading that it might be them on this website.  They did verify that this is a genuine call from them and that there were attempts to make a transaction on my credit card (£500 deposit for a holiday in Disneyland!!) Well done Lloyds for blocking this, excellent service

I received a phone call this morning from the automated service claiming to be Lloyds TSB. They were alerting me to a fraudulent transaction on my account, they never asked for any password details just my date of birth, upon entering it incorrectly (by accident) they claimed  that it did not match the records, so they do know the correct date of birth. They claimed there had been a transaction made on my account for a specific amount of money and gave the name of the company. The call continued and asked to press between 1 & 2 to determine whether it was legit. At this point I put the phone down and phoned the number for Lloyds that appears at the top of my c/card statement, they confirmed that the call came from themselves and that there had been fraud attempted on my card less than 15 minutes previous. Very quick service. Well impressed.

It's your credit card fraud department. Something has been flagged as a suspect transaction. Just contact the number on your credit card statement and they will pass you to the fraud department who will deal with it for you.

Lloyds security deptartment left a message asking me to call this number - Someone had (ligitimately) run a credit check on my credit card. Everything was above board.

I had a call from an automated service telling me to call this number - I called Lloyds TSB and they confirmed that there had been some dodgy activity on my card which had been blocked.

I urge you to call!  If you're unsure, call the main Lloyds TSB number, it's also an 0845 nubmer.

Had a call to both my home number and mobile with a message asking me to call back to help prevent fraud!  I called Lloyds myself from a number I normally use.  Put through to the fraud team and they checked all my accounts, everything was fine so I am happy.  I did out of interest phone the number but cut it short after it asked for more and more information, event if it is from Lloyds this is not the right way of doing things, you automatically think it's a scam.  I will not be calling the number again or giving any information over the phone.  However, I was in a store the other week and my card was declined, within 5 seconds my mobile rang and it was an automated service from Lloyds, asked me not to give any information but to just confirm transactions on my card for the last few days and the transaction I was about to make, then the card was authorised.  I thought that was a fantastic service.  Be safe out there!

Agreed, this is a genuine service from the Lloyds fraud team.

Agree call - I called & spoke to a person immediately - very polite and said they would remove my number.

I phoned Lloyds 24 hr customer support this evening and they verified that it was the correct number for their fraud department.

I received a call purporting to be be from Lloyds TSB but am rather suspicious that it may be a scam.

Received call with no caller ID which left automated voicemail message asking to call this number. After visiting this site to confirm legitimacy, I called back. It was definitely Lloyds, an automated fraud check service. They ask you only to confirm your date of birth which is done so by giving you possible options to choose for your birth year. You then confirm the recent transactions were made by you, I had a declined transaction for a purchase from a US company in US$, it was a genuine purchase but was the reason for the fraud check. I'd recommend you call the number back to make sure everything is OK with your card. Note, if you call this number back it tells you to call 0345 603 1754 instead.

Bogus caller 03456031754 pretending to be lloyds

I phoned the number above as requested, but an automated message told me it had changed to 03456031754 and when I called that number, it was silent.  I do not believe this is Lloyds Bank calling because I hope they would have more sense than to use suspicious sounding automated messages.  I tried to phone security for the bank and after a wait of some 20 minutes, had a thoroughly unsatisfactory response and have decided to simply put the phone down on any further calls from "Lloyds Bank".

A genuine number - I had tried to buy on Sports direct, Lloyds declined the transaction and before I had chance to try again had a phone call from 0345603754 who knew about the decline. After sorted out I rang Lloyds customer service to check if genuine they said it was.
