I also have just had a call from these people, so glad i saw this page! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, PUT THE PHONE DOWN. They pretended they had turned up to our office to read the meter and said they could not get in. Utter nonsense and have never been anywhere near our office.

Just been called by this number from a company calling themselves Select Energy and said they had had an automatic meter feed re-registration to my studio. I was very suspicious as I'm not on the meter but sub-letting. She said she was Marie and to call back on 0845 689 1573 (direct line _219). I haven't and glad I have found this thread.

Dodgy company calling about our npower renewal. Dishonest sales techniques as we have a serviced office.

Called me with all the details of my new business premises (must have bought my info from Royal Mail as I haven’t told anyone else).
Spent 10 minutes on the phone lying through their teeth at me and in the end told me I was stupid because I asked for the information by post so I could review exactly what they were offering.

Manipulative, dishonest and aggressive electricty sales. Disgusting technique of lying through their teeth.Avoid!!!

A call from these people claiming to be from select energy and trying to fraudulently  obtain my details. Do not give them any information they are a scam company

'Shane' rung, said he spoken with the practice manager to switch our electricity supply. Tried to claim he has already spoken with her and needs to again. He quoted a day she wasn't actually in. Very persistent pest. Do not get taken in

Complete scammers and aggressive - lied and said they were from our actual supplier pretending it was last day to renew

This Company are phoning constantly claiming to be Opus Energy and telling us our contact has expired. Consulting the Opus website I can see that contracts end in 2022. I suspect they are just an agent trying to tie us into them.

Called today and lied about needing to register my new premises for energy supply. Said they weren't brokers and also they wouldn't take any money or sign me up to a contract but then proceeded to take bank details and try to sign me up depsite telling me the whole time i wasn't signing up to anything. Thankfully i googled them whilst i was on the phone. Howcan a supposedly legit company act in what has to be a completely illegal way. They flat out lied all the way through the call.
