Putting it out there, we don't ring you and then just decide screw it and hang up. The dialer based system used means numbers are always being called however if no rep is able to take the line the number is disconnected. This is not the best system and it is common feedback from many customers I talk to, I sympathise with you but it is not as some people put it a way to track your location for various companies you may be watching a little too much TV mate.

TGA is not a scam however it is not Telstra. Telstra the company does many things, marketing, pricing, products, maintinence of exchanges and towers however they don't do much distribution. They don't pick locations and say lets have a Telstra shop or Telstra business centre here here and here. Telstra shops and business centres are seperate companies working on BEHALF of Telstra. Our companies and by extension we are paid by Telstra, we are held accountable by Telstra we are authorised dealerships but your local Telstra shop is not Telstra. For example the company that owns TGA also owns a few telstra shops.

I don't know why people are called quite as often as they are but I know that when someone hangs up they are not being taken off the list. When you just swear at us and abuse us you are not being taken off the list. When u just pick up but don't answer or continually send to message bank you are not being taken off the list. Personally I remove a person from our list providing they are the account holder, they know exactly why we are calling (often people think we are telemarketers trying to sell them a fridge or something) and they politely tell me they are aware but they do not want to be contacted again. Think. If your rude to a rep is that going to make them do right by you and get you removed as quickly as possible.

I sympathise with many of you, I understand your frustration, but some people are a little overly zealous with all the accusations.
