Its scum  based on cloned  businesses or firms indentity and don't answer them, they are not what they say.

I just received a call from this outfit. A woman spoke and said she was calling about a letter that had been sent to explain the help available for me from her organization.  I asked it they offered mental health services. She replied that they did not, but they had written about helping me with debt.  I asked when they had written - "about a month ago."  When I said that I had not received such a letter, she claimed that many people might regard such a letter as junk and not read it.  My retort that, being obsessive-compulsive, I read *every* item that comes through my post box and so the chances of her having actually posted such a missive were remote and, even if she had, the fact that I had not responded to her offer meant it was most likely that I was uninterested in her unsolicited assistance.  Undeterred, she asked how she could help me with my debts; on hearing that she couldn't as I didn't have any, she bid her farewells and I asked her never to call again.  If I receive another such call, I shall ask for the details of the company secretary and so on to establish their bona fides and ask to whom I should complain within the organization and so on, prior to escalating matters ...

these [***] are phoning me every day, i have barred their number now

This number has been calling me for weeks now, every day on my mobile, I have spoken to them a few times now and told them I do not have any debt worries, the bit that cheeses me off is that they lie and say they have sent me a recent letter, when asked what this says, where did they send it, etc ,etc, I get no answer, so they obviously havent. Two calls yesterday after speaking to someone in the morning who was going to delete my number. ANOTHER LIE. Getting really annoyed now,will speak to them next time and go along with it to see if they will send me anything with their address so I can give them some proper grief. Will sue them for harrasement if this keeps on.

I missed a  call from this number today. When i called it back a lady answered and said was i responding to a missed call, i said yes. She asked me for my number to which i asked where the call had come from, she said BE Companies. I asked what they did and she said she was unable to give this information out until i gave my number. I refused and hung up.

I've had them call me too, and they say it's from a debt consollidation company - I don't have any debt!!!

this number have not stoped ringin me for about 2 mointh all they do is hang up

I have had exactly 45 calls from this number (yes 45) in the last 72hours, they call me and i dont answer cos its 8am and im asleep, they call me at lik 11.30pm...when im going o bed, and every 15-20mins during the day, ok i have debts but ill go to hell and back before i let these cowboys manage my outgoings.......if of course they arent just a scamming bunch of....ehem..(Relax) ok im good, they call ed just as i was typing this and told them i had a business preference number, and if they continued to call i would sue them for harassment and told them this was the law lol, "i dont have time for time wasters while im at work" (backing up the business preference number) and would be going to my legal adviser to see where i would stand in court,
GUESS WHAT GUYS????? THEY HAVENT CALLED BACK IN OVER A WEEK LOL
follow what i said and they Sh*t a brick in no time and leave you alone. Trust me,

Yeh, they started calling me recently.

Don't know how they got my number though. I'm with TPS so i don't get no sales calls and my number isn't listed.

this company i think  is called all clear finance.They are a debt company.They keap ringing me and wont leave me alont.They call on my mobile and on my works number. Get the message im not interested,so stop bloody calling

Surely, if everybody just answers the call and leaves it "open" until they hang up, it will cost them a fortune. They should get the message then

Hi, the company is D & L or also known as DLC, DIRECT and Legal Collections. they are a debt management company. They called me, only using my first name, and starting spouting on about the 'service they provide and how they can save me money'. i told them i was already with a debt management company. they just said ok, thankyou, sorry to disturb you (i must have got a polite one with a concience)

DLC, direct legal and collections are owned by Hillesden another massive debt collecting agency.  Thay also dabble in debt management to bring in a fefw more pennies.

Some of their staff are polite, most arent.  I am now delaing directly with their director after refusing a settlement offer from a car finance tha thye have boiugh the so called debt off.

If its regarding a debt, then unfortunately DLC are nort great at cusotmer service but then in their eyes you are not the customer.  Getting info from DLC is like getting blood from stone and only a SAR (Subject Access Request letter) will reveal what you need to know.
They don't respond well to ignored phone calls or letters and just persist so I would recommend visiting a site like consumeractiongroup.com and get the right info /letter to send.  They back of very quickly when you fight them back.

In regards to their debt managment plans, I have to admit have heard they do it but seing and knowing all to well of their attitude towards people in debt, I would not go anywhere near them.

Of course thats just my opinion, and incidentally I've been at loggerheads with them for about 1.5 years now,

Funny though their director is quite decent to deal with but that might be because I have refused their initial offer and am taking the initial financer to court which so far has never happened due to settlement offers which I won't accept,  :-)

just save the number in your phone as 'annoying' and when they ring, answer it and just say something like 'is your mother proud of you?', it confuses the hell out of them.  Naff but makes you laugh instead of getting annoyed.  Poor sods probably didn't get any education and its the only job they can get.  They somehow got hold of my mobile, work and home number which is really bad that they should be able to get your work number, obviously someone is selling contact lists without your authorisation as I never give my work number out unless it is geniune, ie, bank or mortgage company.

Been getting constant phone calls from them aswell, if they know my details how did they get hold of them because I have not given it to them. Does this mean they have broken the data proctection act in obtaining them. If they have report them to the information commisioner.

Hello again have looked at data protection act, seems they could be breaking it. See also Article 8 European Convention of human rights which states -

ARTICLE 8
Everyone has the right to respect for his private and family life, his home and his correspondence.

Obviously such calls are in breach of this, if they keep calling and you have warned them about harrasing phone calls. Log all calls take them to court for harrassment and breaching your human rights under article 8 and make a wedge full of cash. Thanks good luck everyone.

they have only phoned me once but i didn't get it so  phoned back and they said that all the agents r busy and that if i would hold to that one could talk 2 me then the line died!
