Hi, my "voucher" has arrived, it is a booklet from Golden Travel Club explaining how you can get a seven day holiday "free" from them. I would advise that read the small print very carefully. This company deal in holiday ownership and as part of your free week you will have to attend a meeting so that they can try and sell you holiday club ownership.
I am going to write to my credit card bank and another source, hopefully this weekend to see if I can take this a bit further. Basically we have paid £399 for the initial card, with annual renewal of £99. All the other hype is a load of nonsence. Perhaps some people may get good holiday deals from Lifetime, but I will not be one of them.  I have made alternative arrangements which I know are legitimate.
    Best of luck to you.
    Regards
    Caroline

Ive been through all the same problems as yourselves...Im glad I have found this site as it confirms my fears.
I have sent £299 and received my loyalty card....I specifically asked the Green Tours representative about any snags etc and she seemed plausible..I believed her because I actually bought bedding when in Benidorm and it was delivered and complied with my purchase.
I have now noticed that the Green Tours business is up for sale and I have not been able to contact either them or Lifetime by phone..Im definitely sure its a scam and sounded too good to be true..!!

Had a international call from John at Life Time Marketing Solution (Sat 21 Aug). with all the good points and benifits of the company when I told him I did not trust what he said and that I had been ripped of before he told me to go to the website and check on the company. He is said he will ring back on Tus.24. He did say that he is based in Alicante. Thanks for the feed back from this website I will ask more questions If I find out anything usefull I will let you know. If Life Time Marketing Solution monitor this webbsite ...............

Have just had another telephone call from LMS asking me if I was happy with card.  I politely but firmly tol;d hher that I have paid £399 for a card that is no good to me and also thayt I would not be reviewing it next year. Also that the one quote I took for my holiday was  more than I have booked direct with another company!
I also said that I should have had 3 weeks holiday with accomodation and flights, but only one "voucher" arrived, that as my husband is already 65, the "free" week was no good to us etc. She now says that new vouchers show the age limit as 75 and will forward me more vouchers! I will not hold my breath.
Now I have read the terms & conditions in the booklet and it clearly that the offer is not transferable and may only be used by the recipient family ONCE.  THerefore I would be very much suprised if Golden Travel who supply these booklet/vouchers  would agree that if you have 3 booklets you can take 3 separate "free" holidays with them!! What do you all think?
I wish now that I never bought a blanket from Green Travel, as this is where all my problems started.  However I must say I am very pleased with said blanket.

Received a call today from Lifetime Travel Solutions trying to sell me a card.

I had previously had a Travel Temptaions card. This Co. has gone into liquidation and I am still trying to retrieve money via my credit card company.

I was contacted also persistently targeted by one of there salesman claiming I could get a cruise holiday for up to 4 persons for £299 .and once I paid by visa or master card I could then book a cruise holiday at any time. However after paying I received details from them explaining that I had bought a loyalty card . this was very disappointing information as this was not what I was told on the phone. I have again let my self be scammed again by unscrupulous sales.

Hi, We've been scammed too by Lifetime Marketing Solutions.  They asked my husband about our membership of Travel Temptations who went into liquidation last year, and he told them to phone me at work. They didn't mention anything about money to me and said they would re-sissue the holiday club card and put us with another travel agent, so I agreed.  They phoned my husband saying I had agreed and got him to pay £99 renewal fee.  I would never have agreed to pay more money if they had mentioned it.  So, my question is - do you have the address of LMS so that I can give it to my credit card company as I'm claiming the money back due to fraud.  I haven't received any paperwork from them.  I did apply for the free Bahamas cruise/ Disney land holiday last year, but when they said I had to buy the flights and insurance from them at a cost of over £600 each, I backed out.  They leave you hundreds of miles from Disney land with a hire car and you have to be at a certain place on time or they charge you extra.

Hi, I've just been scammed too by Lifetime Marketing Solutions. They sold me the loyalty card for £299 saying it would last me a lifetime with no further payments, plus a free weeks holiday for 4. Paper work I received claims I will get my holiday if I sign and return receipts plus an annual fee of £99 which they definitely did not tell me about on the phone. Well I won't be returning receipts and I have cancelled my card on the advice of my credit card supplier, who I thought would help me and claim my moiney back but today they have informed me that they cannot help with the claim. They have advised me to contact LMS myself but reading messages from other people who have been scammed I don't hold out any help. How could I let this happen? what a fool.

    Very Stressed replies to caz
My mother paid the membership fee, first big mistake.  Second big mistake we booked and paid for an arranged holiday through them...

We shouldn't have bothered, its been far too much aggravation from the start, EVERY single detail was wrong except the destination! They had booked and charged us for too many nights meaning we have paid for 7 nights in a hotel, we think, when we only needed 6 (still no acknowledgement from them regarding a refund for this). They are practically impossible to contact and if you do get to speak to someone they are rude and surly! Ironically considering how obnoxious they are over the phone the reason we had trouble speaking to a member of staff was because the reservation team were on a customer care training course...

Just turned up at the airport to find out that our flight has been cancelled which they knew about the day before, as they had rebooked us on a different flight, but for some reason decided not to inform us... still trying to find out if the transfers and hotel have been informed of this delay or if they were ever booked in the first place.
They also seem to be trading under the name luxuryholiday-rentals.com as some of our paperwork is from them and some of it is from LMS.

THEY ARE NOT ABTA BONDED AND PROBABLY NOT ATOL PROTECTED EITHER DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGEPOLE... GET A REFUND NOW IF YOU HAVE PAID FOR MEMBERSHIP...

We need another holiday to get over the stress!
