Google his detailed history, but for quick reference:

NB: Approx 85% of US laser ops are Lasik
ln response to my query about Steven Schallhorn, Chief Medical Director of Optical Express' very own International Medical Advisory Board (IMBA), Morris replied last night:
"Sasha,
I have known Dr. Schallhorn since my days at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. He was a major player in LASIK studies for VISX and parlayed his Navy status into a lucrative private-military partnership to perform LASIK on pilots and others.
When I raised questions about LASIK publicly for the first time a few years ago he called me from Germany to complain. He told me then that he and his clinics have performed 100s of thousands of LASIK without injury.
Do I believe his claims? No.
Do I have evidence of bad outcomes by him or his clinics? No.
When LASIK patients understand, and the public, that every eye that receives LASIK is permanently sick, then LASIK will die. Keep up your efforts.
Best regards,
Morris

Have you ever considered becoming a policeman ?
Since you are so fixated with evidence and proof (according to sasha wikipedia )I personally think you were better off being in the police force
Maybe you would even get a chance to arrest people if you did . - ORMLinfo replies to Reply - question oneNot an honest one, as he has evidence & proof of all I mentioned on Wikipedia!
The joke's on him though, because, now we're both blocked, he can no longer delete what I wrote :)
He also knows better than any of us exactly how many patients have been damaged @ OE - certainly enough for him to set up a "Complex Case Management System"
What I call 'The Waiting Room', because they keep patients hanging on with promises until their 3 years limitation time runs out to litigate!
Danny's story is a perfect example:

Btw, has anyone realised that patients left with "complex" problems didn't actually have them BEFORE surgery @ OE ;) - BigYin| 3 repliesHorrible what Optical Express people have written on Wikipedia. On the Optical Express talk page. Really disgusting.

- Reply replies to ORMLinfoIt looks like everyone is getting on swimmingly well .
David moulsdale why don't you hire Sasha Rodoy ?
I'm sure you admire her spirit ! - Danny| 2 repliesI've been following this wonderful thread and purposely kept quiet, but I thought i'd pop in and say a few words.
First off, whoever keeps piping up about money and thats all Sasha is interested in etc, do you not think that if it was all about the money then she would have accepted the £20k from RA and the £10k bribe from DM ?
Pretty sure most people wouldn't turn down £30k.
It is all about holding those accountable for their actions, OE really don't give a stuff about anyone's eyes at all, they string you along with promises of solutions and fixes etc and in the end your stuffed because legally nothing can be done.
These idiots claiming its about money, lol, if only they could see life through my eyes for a day they might realise what is actually important in this world, let me tell you something, money is most certainly not important.
To me, what is important is simple things like this, at night time when my son is asleep, I would love to be able to actually sit with him and see him clearly, be able to watch him sleep, for my son sleep is one of the things he can do pain free and to see him so calm and peaceful is wonderful, it really is, but you see I can't see him properly as my eyes are bad, night time vision for me is a contrast-less mess really, you know what I can see though, the machine that helps him breathe that he's hooked up to at night, lots of flashing lights on that, but I wish to god that I really didn't have to see those things at all.
There are things in life much more important than money. - ORMLinfo replies to Danny| 1 replyI have asked Julia NOT to delete PJ-G's posts (12 user names last night) as it will upset the continuity & leave our responses making little sense to newbies.
Hope I have your support on this. - Reply replies to ORMLinfoWhat are we going to be reading soon ?

"Escapee"
I am an ex employee of Optical Express. I unfortunately worked there for 2 years as could not find another job at the time. (I cannot comment on branches as I didn't not work in any) The call centre started by calling customers every 4 hours to remind them that their eye test is due or to book a laser consultation. DM was not happy there was not enough appointments being brought in so he upped the calling to every 2 hours. This was not the problem. The problem was that the advisors were having to call people who had been with Optical Express years ago (Upto 6) and had clearly gone elsewhere since then. The pressure to get the customer to book on that one call was unbelievable. We had to call people upto 9.00PM, including people with children, older couples etc. They treat their customers like numbers and as long as they are giving money then that's fine. The call centre was run by a woman named Allison. She is one of the most evil people I have ever met. (Infact, when people have left before if they were sacked/resigned she actually got hate mail several times.) Staff were sacked right left and centre without a word of warning over some of the littlest things that other companies may work with employees to improve on these rather than sacking. There were also a lot of people sacked unfairly - who also won a lot of court cases or were given a pay out before it got to court so not to publicise certain things. (some of these things would actually make you sick) They then just continued to bring in new staff but didn't bother training them, they just sat them next to people to listen to a few calls then sat them on the phone. These people are trying to sell a medical procedure not windows. They should have adequate training. The managers were also told that if any of them went to HR about problems with senior management that they would be sacked? DM was a very intimidating man and would only speak with the good looking advisor's which made a lot of people feel uncomfortable. Does this sound like the type of company you want to be dealing with? I really wish that I could find positives about OE but unfortunately I find it very difficult. - ismellanoerat| 1 replyFilm Review
Critics say:
"A weapon of mass derision"
"In a supporting role The Dictator is okay, but as the star of his vanity projects he is excruciating"
"Funny enough, even hilarious at times, but is he really being incisive and intelligently manipulative, or is he just ignorant and offensive?! "
PLOT
For many years, the organisation has been ruled by a childish, lecherous, homophobic despot who surrounds himself with scared 'yes men': whose criticism is physically costly, and those who dare to, disposed of. Currently working on developing world domination.
In an attempt to ingratiate himself amongst the world's most powerful, seeking acknowledgement & acceptance, the despot surrounds himself with personnel bullied into accepting his rulings, no matter how damaging to his country & its people.
Those in his inner circle must accept his rulings without question, no matter how damaging, forced to promote his reputation as a generous philanthropist
By donating huge amounts of money to foreign charities, not actually costing him a penny due to tax relief, he seeks to be rcognised as a generous dictator.
Unfortunately, those in his own country desperately needing help are ignored, because unrecognised philanthropy won't help get him the awards he craves
Money is donated to build charity community centres, conditionally named after the dictator.- Caller: Optical Express Alladeen
