All I can say to the problems we all have is that DONT GET EYE SURGERY unless it is for medical problems ONLY,
And we have all learned the hard way, I'm in the. Same position. As us all, don't know why the DVLA have not been
Informed of eye surgery as I do beleive all that is having problems to get their eyes checked, as we are not only
A danger to ourselfs it's every one else on the roads, I know this for sure. As I don't have driving standard eyes
And never will, and with all the problems of halos and everything else going on in my eyes I know or sure I couldnt
drive a car, I know people that has lost their licence for less tha what we are all experienceing.

This board seems to have gone very quiet lately where are the likes of Sandy and Speechless? Have OE bought their silence? Wouldn't put anything past Moulsdale and his bribery boy Patrick James-Green.

I can't imagine David moulsdale is Going to be buying too many people's silence when his highest bid for sasha was ten thousand pounds .

I'm starting to wonder if there is any substance behind all of David Moulsdales hot air and rumours.

From where I stand he is starting to become a bit of a joke - particularly since I'm still waiting to hear from his lawyers !

Wouldnt underestimate the malevolence of David Moulsdale. I agree that it appears he hasn't shut the site down with his lawyers but that is probably because the majority of the stuff in here is totally factual.  A man who runs a pseudo medical company destroying people's corneas and long term vision whilst abusing his staff and molesting his young female employees at his sordid Christmas parties. I just don't understand why he thinks that by removing pages from here and Wikipedia he is actually stopping the negative publicity. I just wish the papers would realise the monster they are avoiding doing stories on.

I met with MPs John McDonnell & Hywel Williams @ The House of Commons earlier today.

A very satisfactory & productive meeting.

I strongly urge everyone with concerns re this industry to PLEASE contact your local MP.

Tell them you want their support for 'My Beautiful Eyes' campaign for government legislation & suggest they contact John McDonnell for more details.

Btw, John McDonnell has also been a victim of OE's cold calls so is fully aware of their hard sell tactics, and wants to know where they got his details!

Going from my own experience regarding my surgery at optical express I was told by David teenan, their surgeon, that I had driving standard eyes NOT TRUE, been told otherwise so what is that telling us? how many of us out there has had eye surgery and hold a driving licence and are still legal to drive??? Spoke to my friend again regarding this and he agrees this is a major issue which needs addressed. I will be doing this very soon.

That does not surprise me considering that David probably  spends most of Time telling lies , making himself out to be better than he is and preying on and lying to  young girls whilst getting them too drunk .

I think that the ASA judgements against optical express -marketing which David moulsdale leads highlights nicely how far many lies he is happy to tell .

I'm still waiting for him to have me arrested or sued.

he claims to be single when he is not.
he likes getting young girls very drunk and then wants his PA to sort the crap out for him.
he really isnt worth celebrating I can verify that his whole facade of so called success is dependent in people believing that this guy has somthing to contribute to society and is successful.

The only thing he is successful at is making people believe utter rubbish.

I dont see how someone who can lie so much on his advertising in healthcare which involving cold calling customers and texting them to get them to have surgery is possibly worth not writing about online in the papers.

More than being a philanthropist he is a lying philanderer.
I think that More than someone who is interested in contributing to society, he is only interested in contributing to himself.
He might come across as being a great business leader- he offers employees the world in pay rises and promotions- has no problem in doing it directly and on a podium and gets his managers to pick up when employees ask questions about when its all going to happen.

Due to his underhanded methods he got himself involved in a campaign that had nothing to do with him ( sashas initial complaint was with Optimax) and has now made everyone else realise that he is actually the bigger twit.

He has a terrible foul mouth- has no problem with swearing at people work- likes having a younger workforce who are too new it all to tell him to X@~? off and gets way too involved with store level staff, making himself out to be a good businessman and some kind of hot shot business leader

He may have won a business achiever award many years ago- when maybe some people believed he had promise but hes been creaming it ever since- he has forgotten than no one has since been falling over themselves to recognise his so called success.

he had the audacity to try to convince me that sashas claims were lies and tell me that hes going to find out who is responsible for all of this and not to be involved!

Oh yes and David Moulsdales Optical Christmas Parties - all about David Moulsdale having fun at his employees expense.
The hiring of multiple bedrooms for his use on one night completely factual.

So to summarise
facts about David Moulsdale
1. He has no interest in the wellbeing of his workforce, which is why he gets involved with young females through lies , hires multiple bedrooms and gets his PA to pick up for him.

2. He has no problem with lying to his potential customers, evidenced through the number of Advertising Standards Agency judgemets against him.

3. he been reported in the papers to have affiliations with a well known scottish gangster.

4. He is so interested in the best standards of eye care that he (as Sasha said) has offered a government campaigner a bribe- in contravention to the bribery act, not to campaign for government legislation in laser eye- surely the better option was to work with her?

5. He has no problem with removing feedback about him from the internet so and trying to inimidate people to not be involved in saying anything negative about him- probably so he can drag more poeople into his fantasist life of no consequences.


Which leads me to my final point- an excellent demonstration of David Moulsdales ability to put his money where his mouth is.

Im responsible for this David Moulsdale.
You know who I am- please do have me arrested and or take me to court or 'make me responsible' in whatever way you see fit!

One thing that David Moulsdale has been ver very very successful at so far is making his behaviour acceptable . No one has challenged him for years  or if they have we do not hear about it .

He is very very very good at telling people what they want to hear .

Middle management who do remain for long periods of time in my opinion are relatively thick skinned and accept it as part of what they put up with in their jobs
I think there are a lot of people who work for him who do not want to too - as evidenced by previous comments here - eg ' escapee' typical .

As escapee said - David Moulsdale only talks to attractive advisors at work . I think that David Moulsdale  is disrespectful towards women and his workforce and I therefore encourage all women to boycott working for and purchasing from Optical Express .

And I look forward to David Moulsdale having me arrested .

Interesting disclaimer added to Optical Express website - in very VERY small print!

Hmm... so what about the numerous patients aged 40 plus, and those with prescriptions higher than moderate?!

So Grant Shapps is in the papers getting serious criticism for minor alterations to his Wikipedia page. So how come Optical Express can basically control theirs and censor it, delete negative factual information at will?

If David Moulsdale / Optical express was having my factual information removed from the internet,  I would

1. Contact David Moulsdale / Optical Express.
2. Tell him/ them exactly who I am .
3. Tell him / them that I did it and stop moaning at the website its not their fault.
4. Finally I would let him/ them know that just because I dont happen to be 'powerful' it doesnt mean I deem my freedoms to be completely insignificant and that I do actually value the freedom and liberties I have as governed by the laws of this country.

If everyone did the same David Moulsdale/ Optical Express would be able to pursue
every individual who has ever had any negative feedback on David Moulsdale / Optical Express.

He might aswell throw in every customer whos written a bad review of his Optical Express online while hes at it and pursue them too.

I dont really like that I had written that David Moulsdale tried to intimidate me into not getting involved with Sasha's campaign has been removed from the thread.

Well, David Moulsdale you should'nt have done it and should be ashamed of yourself.
Quite frankly, Id rather die than get bullied by you.
