Change the record.  I didn't offer Sasha anything - I'm not Patrick, or anything to do with Optical Express.  Though I do have the evidence that she demanded a well paid consultancy situation with Optical Express.  Perhaps she'd like to put that on her website?

Why won't anyone admit that Optimax is just as bad as Optical Express and that it has bought itself a way out of the campaign for industry wide legislation in buying and gagging Sasha?

You have still to tell us what you did at OE, why you left and how you apparently reconcile your current indignation with OE practices with your former employment?  Presumably you were quite happy to receive on target bonuses until you left?

In my opinion optical express are responsible for the existence of the www.opticalexpressruinedmylife.co.uk website as they were seemingly unable to resolve customer complaints .

Optimax on the other hand don't appear to have had the same effect on their customers as far as I can tell . Therefore it seems to follow that Optimax haven't had to close stores whilst optical express put an 83 store subsidiary into administration last year - neither did Optimax post losses as far as I'm aware- whilst OE posted losses of 1.5 million last year .

Optical express engaged in a multi million pound dispute with HMRC in 2007 -

I haven't heard of Optimax having the tax man chasing after them -

Optical Express open four more clinics. Wonder if they are in flats or perhaps bedsits?

It will be interesting to see exactly how many they open -after putting an 83 store subsidiary into administration and engaging in a multimillion Lund tax dispute with HMRC in 2007 .


If I were moulsdale I'd just give up and take the money .

From what ive read so far he shows zero pride in his business or his personal reputation in his business -
Or his conduct .
According to ' Marion ' most of his staff don't even want to be there .

I don't know why the man bothers with any if this - if I were him I'd be too embarrassed to open another shop .

Message from Optimax founder Russell Ambrose

My name is Russell Ambrose and I have recently bought Ultralase and I promise to look after Ultralases' patients as best I can. I founded Optimax in 1991 with the aim of making laser eye surgery accessible and affordable. I was the first patient in my clinic and I understand your concerns and anxieties. I have run this business as a family owned business for 21 years and Optimax has performed over 350,000 treatments in this period. (about a third more than Ultralase in the same period).

Ultralase on the other hand has had many different corporate owners. Since 2009 it has been owned by bankers after the previous owner lost its shares when the company went bust. Ultralase has not made any money in the last 4/5 years and the banks had a difficult choice: either close the company down or sell it for a fraction of the debt it was owed. The laser eye business is not in good shape since the recession hit, and there was no capital investment in Ultralase in this period. Meanwhile Optimax opened 9 locations and has invested in new lasers.(Optical Express posted losses in their last filed accounts and has recently shut 86 shops including 9 laser clinics).

I was able to keep open 14 Ultralase clinics and save more than 120 jobs; I am sorry that I was not able to save more and I am sorry to all those who lost their employment and I wish them the very best for the future. All staff were paid for the time they worked and holiday pay.

The transfer period was a difficult time. Over 3,000 appointments had to be rearranged. There were many unforseen IT problems and this was a very difficult period. I am sorry I let some of you down. I hope you will understand that in such a situation it is not possible to give advance warning of such a transfer until it happens. A change like this is never easy and there is never a good time, but I will ensure everyone is looked after in the future.

Both Optimax and Ultralase are now in my family’s ownership and there is no difference in the way any customer is treated. In cities where Ultralase has closed, patients will receive their aftercare and retreatments in a local Optimax clinic

I think he has pretty much dwarfed David Moulsdale , in my view David moulsdale  has come across as a no class plonker in comparison - I think Moulsdale should sell the rest of his company and give up .

Perhaps if you checked out lasik-eyes.co.uk instead of spending all your time on here you would see that there are numerous unhappy Optimax patients.Ambrose has plenty of class it's all low. Your blind hatred of Moulsdale makes you say things that are incredibly stupid even by your own low standards.

Notice how you keep using the word "allegedly" when talking about Moulsdale these days, a far cry from a few months ago. Is someone cared of getting banned from this forum and having even less(if that's possible) to do during the festive period than they normally do?

@anon it might be an idea to encourage those unhappy Optimax patients on lasik-eyes.co.uk to post on opticalexpressruinedmylife.co.uk and see what happens. It makes me laugh how Sasha claims  to have access to "free  expert legal advice" when all she does is refer people on to a "no-win no-fee" solicitor, after sticking her oar in of course! As far as Sasha doing her campaign for the good of the people a few months ago she was sending begging e-mails to her followers begging for donations to help run opticalexpressruinedmylife. Since her big payout from Ambrose I wonder if she has returned those donations? Of course she has not. This despicable ladies greed knows no boundaries. A truly disgusting human being is Sasha Rodoy!

Please ask David Moulsdale what happened to the ex staff of optical express face book pages .

I think there were nearly 200 people on there with mainly negative feedback .

If David moulsdale is squeaky clean can you ask him if he had anything to do with having those Facebook pages removed and also why no one is making such allegations about Russell Ambrose.

Also if you wouldn't mind asking him that if he is so squeaky clean why does the news.scotman.com still support an article which says something about an ' alleged friendship with a notorious drugs baron ' with reference to David Moulsdale ?
