I think it would be good if Sasha posted the recording of Patryce Jimbo Green offering her £10k for her not to mention Optical Express in the press.  I'm sure a few are familiar with the video as it was up on youtube before OE complained and had it removed (a few times).

Now if she puts it on http://www.opticalexpressruinedmylife.co.uk/ OE won't be able to touch it.

This thread would be hard hitting if there was some SEO work done to improve its rankings for the usual search terms for people who are interested in having laser. This site and OERML will provide attraction and interest only from damaged customer current and ex staff of laser surgery related industries, but will do nothing to reduce a persons interest for surgery unless this page and OERML were viewed regularly by customers BEFORE treatment. I wonder if Sasha knows what page her site is on if you google LASER EYE SURGERY. I don't, but its not in the first 4. To improve these sites or threads visibility will cost money, and I don't think there is anyone posting here who would make any such investment. For that reason it will commonly be the place to come if you wish to complain about your employment or your treatment with the company, but to damage the company, I don't think so.

Your point about OERML and this thread is well taken.  This thread was never about laser surgery advice in the same way as OERML is not about helping prospective patients.  Both are grudge sites and will never attract a wider audience.  Someone has recently commented on the high Google ranking.  High, but only if you use the "right" search terms.

You ask how I know that there is no fundamental difference between Optimax and Optical Express or between Ambrose and Moulsdale business practices.  The answer is research and information from contacts who work or have worked in these and other laser vision companies.

I've already told you why I remain anonymous here.  I suggest that you try reading previous posts.  Anyone who wants to contact me need only leave an email address here.  If they don't want to disclose identity, it can be a temporary address.  If they have something interesting to say I'll make contact.

Optical Express probably attracted Which! because it was twice the size of its nearest competitor in terms of patients and even bigger in terms of shops.  I won't dignify either Optimax or Optical Express by calling their shops "clinic".  

I also suggest that you read the report, not just the headlines taken up by the media.  You'll need to become a member of Which! or may find it stocked by your local library.  Optimax did not come out much better.  Read other forums.

I don't have an issue with Optical Express being criticised.  I do have issues with Optimax and now Optimax/Ultralase being dropped from a so called campaign for industry wide legislation; with the dying embers of that campaign being hosted on a minor grudge site and the missed publicity opportunity associated with the Keogh report.  I'd like to know whether that omission was deliberate on the part of Sasha - so that she did not risk contravening her agreement with Optimax, or just that the media correctly judged her as being of no consequence.

Poor service and consequent poor outcomes are implicit in a cost and corner cutting, production line business strategy and employment of sales staff in preference to medically trained staff.  A bad situation fuelled by a low basic wage and need to hit incentive targets to get a decent wage..
