called me again today. Never anyone there. Doubt it would be the fonejacker- more important things to do i reckon. It beats me how these people get the number. i am ex directory, on the edited register for electoral role and always give a false phone number on the internet. I just wish these people would put their time and efforts into  an honest job rather than scamming money out of decent people who work hard!

Hung up as soon as i picked up - I called back but no answer.

Called by this number to-day.  Most annoying when awaiting an important call and these b*****ds ring and don't speak.  Will let answer machine take the calls and only pick-up when I recognise the caller.

They called me this morning and told us that we had won a competition allowing us to have any home improvements. They asked us what we would like I said a conservatory. I felt concerned as it seemed too good to be true and the man on the telephone was somewhat incoherent. I gave them my husband's mobile number knowing that they probably wouldn't ring it. I checked this number out and found this website and decide to report it.

Just got a call today (22/11/2008) trying to talk to me about getting out of the blues, it was an elderly chap, and then asked the owner of the house, i said not in and wont be in till later, replyed to me saying i mumbliong too much and cant understand what i was saying, and i should take speaking calsses.

I keep getting calls from this number and just don't answer them. If it's important they can leave me a message! (They never do!)

TO all of you trying to call them back - DON'T - it's a premium rate number!!

Just had one of these - she said she was from Wetherseal, that my number came up in their draw and I had won £1500.00 of free home improvements. When I said I'll have a cheque instead she hung up.... Another good way to get rid of them!

Just recieved a silent call from this number. Reported it to BT, it is a company number that calls lots of numbers from a computer and then hangs up on you if you are not the first number to answer. Very annoying, as it will keep calling back until it catches you.

The lady I spoke to told me to call up 08450700707 to get caller preference. The service is apparently free (making the call costs 2p apparently) and within 28 days this kind of call should be blocked. I'm going to try this now. Lets hope it works!

Getting fed up with them.

i had a phone call from 08708507619 today 27th jan 09 and the lady said that i have won £1,500 of home improvments. i told her that im moving and she just put the phone down. I though what real sales company would just put the phone down and not try to fight for a sale???? Said she was from a company call weatherfield. Isnt that the fictional place where Coronation Street is set??

Worked in this company for 3 hours, found out it wasn't the office job which I thought I had applied for.  Awful company, rude, aggressive and bad mannered staff.

The only way out of getting another call after telling them your ex-directory is:

SAY YOUR A BUSINESS!!!!!!

The phonecall will start with, Hello, I'm whoever from weatherseal, I am phoning to congratulate you as you have won upto £1500 off our home improvement products.

I was called repeatedly by someone saying they were from weatherseal and that i had won £1500 of home improvements. I thought weatherseal was a reputable company so i agreed for someone to come and measure some windows as it would be the only way i could afford to get them done. someone was supposed to come round today..... no one came and no explanatory phone call

Took one of their many calls last year and told them that all my windows have been replaced - which is true, but they still keep calling.  Another call this morning without leaving a message.  They are a pain in the backside.

Got a missed call 10am today. Having read other posts, i wish i had answered and given them a run around.

They rang me today at 2.30pm I use the number as a buiness line so they just engage with my fax tones when they call just noticed that they use an 0870 number is that not misuse ?

After weeks of nuisance calls, things have gotten rather sinister. They called around 9, claiming they were the CIP and that my "child" had been arrested for murder.

They called my house saying that i was live on BBC Radio1 and that if i had answered a question correctly i would have won a trip to DisneyLand Florida.

this number has called several times, this was the first time someone spoke to me, asking to speak to the home owner I replaced the receaver.
