Received call from thi snumber today. They hung up when i answered, and no respnse when i called back.

We keep getting calls also from 08708507619. Mostly they are silent, however sometimes a recorded message starts playing concerning the company Supremoglaze.

My guess would be that this is a third party phone marketing organisation, who calls people trying to sell products of other companies. I would also guess that the silent calls might be the result of the recorded message not starting to play, perhaps as a result of the system not detecting that you have picked up the phone.

I am on the TPS service and so will be complaining through them. I would recommend that anyone who isn't already on this service signs up (www.tpsonline.org.uk) - it is fairly effective against marketing and sales calls, and gives you a body to officially complain through should you continue to receive such calls.

Just got a call from 0870507619 (did a 1471 to get the number), i said hello, they hung up after a few seconds, was silent on the other end.. rang back to no answer...

this is british gas ringing to see if anyone lives at your address i get prank calls from them as i owe £87

Girl said it wasn't a sales call but wanted to know if I was interested in some kind of double glazing product.  I interrupted her and said "take me off your list immediately" and she said "I don't know how, you'll have to contact head office" then hung up.

Complete wasters.  I've reported them to OFCOM - they're breaking the TPS rules.

yes the number is supremoglaze they have been calling asking for me by name for ages when my wife answered the phone (a womans voice asking for me by name , can you see where that could cause problem) said not to worry and didnt give a name or company and quickly ended the call

but i answered the phone sunday at 1040 , eventually finding out who it was making the nuisance calls , i plainly said is it sunday , she replied yes then i simply said sorry dont do questions on a sunday and she hung up , after all those calls tring to get hold of me , she didnt last long on the phone so couldnt have been that important lol

got to feel sorry for them really hardly job satisfaction is it lol

I've also had these calls from this number on a boringly regular basis. No one speaks or leaves a message and there is never a reply when you try to call it back. I'm setting the phone system to show incoming calls. The next time this number appears the rape alarm is going on - right into the reciever.

Whoever these sickos are they are casuing distress among those of us who live alone.

please report this online to www.ofcom.org.uk - the more who do the better as once complaints on a siltent number reach a certain level action is then taken.  It only takes 2 mins on the online form.

I have had nine such calls in the past week or so and also investigated the company with a friend "in the know" and can confirm it is definately Supremoglaze.  If you want to call their main switchboard then the number is 0800 330088

The ignorant cow that answers the phone will usually rudely hang up on you, and refuse to put you through to a manager so I (being the stubborn sod that I am) started calling on every line available to me (about 20 in total) until someone eventually picked up.  I then said I would keep on jamming their switchboard until such time as a manager took the call.

Within 2 minutes, she had a manager down from upstairs - and I was able to make my distress felt.  I have lodged a complaint about HER as well - all in a day's work.

Got a call from supremoglaze at this number at 6.55 tonight when I pointed out I was ex directory and could they remove me from their call list the stupid bink that called screamed back in a high pitched voice 'I'm exdirectory' and put the phone down. I tried to call back using 1471 but just rang with no reply so I rang their headoffice and was told that their telesales office was closed so therefore it could not have been them, I then googled the number and hey-presto loads of complaints about Supremoglaze.I have registered a complint with OFCOM lets get comfy while thats dealt with shall we. If I should consider double glazing I know one company that will not be in the running. End of rant.

The phone keeps on ringing, 1471 - gives this number and then when you do answer it there is the ringing tone as if we are phoning this number

I get calls from this number all the time. and Yet every time I call it back nobody ever answers........Dunno why they keep calling or who they are as I never get any reply when I pick it up.......

I get 3 calls a day every day from this company and it hangs up when answered. I believe it to be Supremoglaze, but I am not sure. It started happening after I had a call from them a couple of weeks ago. This is bordering on harrassment!

I keep on getting lots of calls from Supremoglaze all different times of the day and night, but nobody speaks or the phone just continuiously rings, I have just called the number: 0800 33 00 88 and I have just spoken to a lady who has just given me the head office number for Supremeoglaze 01606 866500 as she couldnt help me, but the number just quoted could as they are the head office and would be able to look into this!

At approx 6:00 PM. I picked up and a lady asked for ascern (i think thats it)

Then i told her youv probably got the wrong number. Then she said no i havent. Then hung up.
