I recently moved house, When I had my new land line connected I didn't bother with having the new number unlisted. I have been receiving calls several times a day, (Mon-Fri only) from 0882439200. I called the number back once, only an answering machine picked up. I now can't use MY answering machine as I believe these calls are a scam for every answered phone SOMEONE else somewhere is reaping some form of benefit.

My mobile received a call from this number this morning-I didn't get to it in time and I phoned back. just got the usual answering machine like everyone else. I thought it might be for me because it was an 08 number - SA - and I'm in Adelaide

When I find that these are hoax, spam or canvassing calls i just add them to my address book with the name "DO NOT ANSWER"
When I get a call from it next i either answer and just leave the line open so they are charged (and hopefully remove my number from their list) or don't answer.

I have had about 6 calls from this number and no one ever answers when I answer. I have tried calling them back and get an american voice mail box. I would like to know who is calling and why?

I got  call also, i use the Mobile phone  Function to block it and haven't gotten it again.

Its a tele-marketer. They start by telling you 'they will be coming to your place tomorrow to give you a presentation'. I hung up

I get 3 calls a day on my mobile from this number & have been for months.  Very annoying.  I am with Telstra.  I'd love to put an end to it.  Does anyone know how?

How do you use the mobile phone function to block it.  Please explain how to set this up.

They always cancel as I go to answer - why bother to ring!!! Why do they have my number I didn't give it to them!! :(

They call me once every half an hour, i live in Tasmania.

I am a Telstra customer.
Bigpond internet.
My number is not silent.
Everytime i pick up the phone when they call it just cuts out.

I am now going to leave a message on their answering machine warning them to stop.
I am also going to send emails to the CraftMatic website asking them to stop.

If they fail to comply

I will ask 2500 people to ddos their website.

This number keeps ringing our mobile and hanging up!!!

Also recieving calls, only rings once and then they hang up. Not going to bother calling back after seeing this.

I've had them call twice today And last week I had a few missed calls from a qld number. Getting pretty sick of it. Can you block these numbers if you have an iPhone?

I get this 08 2439200 number calling me early morning every few days. Same every time, I answer, they hang up. Does anyone know if this is still "Craftmatic" or some other company? Anyone had any luck stopping them? it's bloody annoying.

I too have been receiving calls from this number for the last few weeks. Craftmatic is located at 701 Port Rd and their phone number is 82435800. I just called them and asked to be taken off the call list. The receptionist said I needed to give my name and a whole lot of other detail. I said they were calling a business mobile and I was only prepared to give her my mobile number to have it removed from the list. She was rude, abrupt and told me if I wouldn't give her my name and other personal detail, my number stays on the call list. Within 30 seconds of hanging up on her, guess what... I received another call with no-one on the line. Anyone aside from me feel like bombarding their business line with calls all day?

I have phone call almost every day when I once the phone someone hang up!!

i got a call from dis number yesterday.a male voice was talking.he knew my name and and was asking me whether i will be at home on the next day at 2:pm  or not! he asked me whether i m married or not.i asked him twice where r he calling from.but unfortunately i didnt understand the answer!he told that i applied to anywhere through the net and they r calling back to me!but i din understand the organaization name!!! the man also asked my age!! then i got really confused n just hang up d phone.

oh ya the company name was craftmatic!

same as everyone else,,so i rang back left a message  '" i have googled your number,and ive seen the list of complaints,,dont call me again.

Just had my first call from 08 82439200 now, as well - they hung up too quick for me to answer.

Wow sounds like they're busy ringing around after reading a few of these posts, but what for?  Has anyone fallen victim / become a customer (if legitimate)?

Me again... they called back and have a solar power company too.  I asked why there are 13 pages of other people complaining about receiving calls from this number and she referred me to a toll free number.. didn't jot it down but.

Apparently the solar power company has a sister company dealing in beds.
