so would like to know who these people are everyday they call about 5 or more times when i ring the number back just get a stupid answering machine getting really annoyed with them big time

Received a call at 230pm 20/9/2010 was driving didnt hear it with traffic noise.
My phone goes to message bank after 5 rings no message.
Why am i not surprised.I think 08 is Adelaide area code.
Anyway i couldnt care less.

This number seems like a common number for all the telemarketing company. I answered a few of them, all of them trying to sell me something. However, they are from different companies.

It seems like they use this number to breach the block set up by Telstra, Optus or any other provider. Anyways, it is really annoying as I get at least 1 call a day.

I too have been getting calls from this number, and I am also on the do not call register.  On all ocassions it has been an Asian accent usually saying there is something wrong with my computer. I just say you trying to scam me and she hangs up.  Cleaner here too at the moment and I asked her if she was getting calls and she was at a 96 y.o. place cleaning the other day and answered the phone for her elderly client and got exactly the same thing.......an of course the elderly client does not even have a computer.  Now I don't answer when I see the number but have trouble educating my 86 y o mother to look at the screen first before answering and don't answer if it starts with 088.

After weeks and weeks of missed calls from this number (and answering to find no-one on the line) I finally spoke to someone when they called. It is Craftmatic Mattresses. I told them I am on Do Not Call and they said they would remove me. I'm not one to be put off that easily.

Looked them up - 1800 210 330. I spoke to receptionist and have asked to make a complaint and have been assured that their compliance officer, Julian, will call me back. I encourage everyone to call them and lodge a complaint directly to get the message across that we will not stand for this kind or annoying and potentially illegal cold calling.

Thanks Kelli - its interesting because i just got a call saying i won a competition for a free solar panel or something ridiculous. doesn't sound like it has anything to do with mattresses! i will give that number a call.

I have received calls from this number lots of times. The last time he identified himself as Michael from Energy Australia

I am having the same problem they keep calling me. I answered once and no response. 8 call is 24 hours :(

Had a missed call from this number but when I returned the call the message bank was full (?).  I'd like to know who it is.

I have had about 50 calls from this number in the past two weeks. It started a couple of weeks ago....a lady with an Asian accent telling me she was from a solar company (never heard her well enough to write down the specific name) telling me that I would be in the running to win $20 000 in solar panels if I booked in a time to get a free energy assessment on my home. She asked for my address details but (luckily) because I was on away on holidays I told her to contact me again later. Upon returning from holidays I decided that I wasn't interested in her energy assessment and told her that when she next called. Though she continued to call. About 20 phone calls later I told her to stop trying to contact me and remove my phone details from her system. Today, and about 50 phone calls later, I have told her the same thing much more forcefully. Lets hope she stops this harassment. Just wanted to send a warning to others....do not give details to the person calling from this number.

After weeks of repeated calls to my young daughter's security mobile I have had enough and traced the number and then sent an email Bomb to their Web Site, or at least the email server and since they run an asterisk VoIP server ar the same address it is possible that the traffic will cause major disruption.
This should keep their Web twits busy for a while. :)

The company is Craftmatic in South Australia I called their head office 1800 210 330 and was told that my numbers could be removed from their database which I naturally have instructed they do.  I hope this works because I'm getting very sick and tired of getting these calls.

Got a call just now from them, how they got my number or knew my name is interesting.

OMG, i have been annoyed by this number too, but a month ago they rang and said they were solar panels and i was able to get a free trial, because i am renting they were going to get back to me, i never gave them our address, they stopped calling for a little while and now started up again last week i reconized the number and refused to answer it, i am ranging from 2 to 6 calls a day ignoring it. until i just came on here to find out who it is calling me. I actually decided to ring back and they claim to be a adjustable bed place now, i hung up after they introduced themselves, Like What?? First they are selling Solar Panels and now Beds, Weird!

I have been getting calls from this number several times and when I ring back a message says the answering machine is full and can't take any more calls.
